i think i joined menewsha roughly in 2007 and i was a pretty active member until the later years.
I loved the pixel style they had so much.

Ernya i also dearly loved but was not super active.
unfortunately i only became active when to was getting closer to shutting down. i never got to get my fave items :[

tho my fave site went to actual ruin. I really liked Syndrone a lot.
Syndrone was my favorite place. and another site but i forgot what it was called.
but it was so short lived.

I kinda miss Menewsha. It's not fully gone, but since no one can contact the owner (and probably 99% of the mods and admins either) and a ton of the features are broken, it's probably just gonna perpetually be a zombie site. Not alive, but not fully dead either.

Ah, Ernya closed...I think shortly after I started working at the museum so probably...2015 or 2016? I kinda miss it, but I also hadn't been on much in the years prior to it closing and I heard it got really cliquey.

I miss a lot of the old sites.

i can pretty much confirm that no matter what i do, i cannot get a confirmation email through from menewsha. reasonably certain i've signed up to the site at least twice.

unless someone hacks the site and actually goes with maintaining it over fucking around with user data, that site's pretty much SOL.

Yeah, that's one of the many broken things about Menewsha. If you had an account previously, you can log in, but you can't make a new account. New account sign-ups are broken. Along with the games (since flash is no longer supported), item previews in the shops and any multi-pose option items. Oh and pings seem to be iffy, working for some people, but not everyone.

ngl i still have to port a load of fer.al items over to trisphee because that's a customization-based MMO that went down. while people are working on reverse-engineering shit, i'd at least like an alternative, lmao.

It's a very long story and I was no longer particularly active by the time it happened, but it involved one of the staffers taking donated money intended for running the site, and spending it on a $300 pair of jeans.
