who are you?, you damn lilliputian, or maybe you are better called a brobdingnag, no matter your name however, you will never see eye-to-eye with reason and for that you are allowed to chose for no matter your name you may never be the hero of this tale, a wise gulliver who's only fault is that /someone/ must play the part. there is much to be said of course however for being the lead, the wide open eyes and innocent victim of a menippean satire, as such they can never fault you for being the foolish king who would let his kingdom be ruined simply because a viceroy has whispered sweet nothing in his ear, or a tailor claim you are good and wise when even the smallest child has no respect, only pity for your nakedness. there will never be a time when you will let the rose die out of prideful ignorance or tweak your coat to make it look better than your father meant it to be. of course on the same foot, as the hero, you must watch the world crumble and see as the coins all turn to copper and know that your only defense is to take the martyr's place and be burned or to run and hide in the coward's way and repeat the tale in verse and pray that the people understand that when their king would let his whore pick who mints the coins that there is a need to stand up and rally against it. it seems to me it is safer sometimes to be anything but the traveller
