the strange and glorious world of tabletop molds | #1
>/ there, toho, is that informative?
nah, but seriously. i have been into miniatures for a very long time and recently i camw across this; http://store.hirstarts.com/mm5/merch...mpletemoldlist they are molds for making game tables(mostly for the game they are selling but for other games too) but the application possibilities actually extend out farther than just games. diorama builders and dollhouse creators would be able to use them as well in certain scales what do you guys think? is the diverse collection of parts feasible for more than just the intended purpose? if they were used for the intended one would they be more viable than the standard tabletop diy kits? is the price reasonable for a mold like this? what else would it be good for?

As for price I think the bigger question is would they be worth it to you

Oh, oh wow those look amazing--really detailed!
I dunno about how stuff is made from this, but can you use them as molds for soaps and chocolates and trinkets? The blocks look like they can be used to make those stuff-in-resin kind of things xD! I dunno about prices since I don't make stuff. I just like watching people in youtube videos make things.

yes, you can ^^ though the material may not be suitable for harder stuff like foam or clay or sand

cookies would not work, it would crumble XD but a candy city sounds pretty rocking XD do you think the temp would melt the mold though?

Aww, no cookies. What about cake?
I don't know what the mold temperatures go up to, but if it melted that would be bad in more ways than one Dx

anything that is not firm enough to hold it's shape when being pulled and prized likely would fail, especially since the molds are not flat, yeah?

Hmm, something that can be pulled and prized.. I'm out of ideas xD. Well, if building medieval cities is fun, that could be something xD
