By the time her father got home... It was already night and it had been that way for quite some time, actually... Maybe an hour and a half. She was surprised when she arrived home and he wasn't here as well. He didn't usually trust his experiments enough to use them himself, but she supposed he had to be able to leave sometime without being destroyed by the sun... Because when she got home, it was still daylight out. He didn't usually go out during the day, so it caught her off guard. He was almost always gone all night and went to sleep during the day- as a vampire should... But this was a nice change. She didn't usually literally have the house to herself... It felt odd though, because she was used to trying to be quiet when downstairs so as to not wake the man behind the door, working so hard...

Though, she was more than happy when she heard the car pull up. She was so obviously hungry when she made her way downstairs to greet him because her normally green eyes were glowing a bright yellow and she was suppressing the energy that caused her fangs to drop to their longest and sharpest points. She opened the door for her father and watched as he carried in several brief cases and took them into his lab, leaving the door open for her to follow him. He always left the door open if he wanted her to come inside after him, so she closed the front door and made her way over to it, peering inside. He reached into one of the things he was carrying and tossed her a blood transfusion bag.

At that point, she was no longer happy to see him... She stepped out of the way and allowed the bag to fall to the floor and slide along the hard wood. She didn't want that. That was the last thing she wanted when the last three times she'd had to eat, her father had given her these things. She shook her head and groaned. Then way he looked at her, wreaked of understanding. He just shook his head and opened his mouth to say something to her, but before the words could come out- she was gone. She refused to eat transfusion blood tonight... It slaked her cravings, but it wasn't good. It wasn't good in the least bit. It was usually clumpy and rather disgusting in comparison to the real thing, since it was kept frozen and cold.

"Please, Aza, no!" her father yelled out to her as he rushed to the door of his lab... But he was much too late. She was already out the door, having left it swinging open in the wind behind her. She was honestly really pissed off right now and she was going to have what she wanted right now. She was craving for blood... Warm, hot, seeping out of a human being blood... And she was going to have it. She didn't care what her father said about this. She wanted it and she wanted it now. She was sure in the end he would understand though... You could only drink transfusion blood so much before it started to make you crave for the real thing more and more... She was tired of having to put those bags into the microwave or something because it was so cold... So very cold... But tonight, she wasn't going to have to drink that cold clumpy crap. She promised herself that as she stalked through the streets. She was using back alleyways to move faster than normal, not wanting anyone to see her glowing eyes or how fast she was moving. She wouldn't be able to hide her eyes until she'd had something to eat...

Sure, the transfusion bag would take care of her eyes and her cravings, but not for nearly as long as an actual human being would... She'd eaten transfusion blood four days ago and wanted more already... whereas she could feed off of an actual human and not have to eat for about two weeks... Sometimes even more, depending on how greedy she was that night. She was tired of having cravings so often. She remembered a time when they would feed every night pretty much because there were absolutely no consequences... But now there was more of a risk with these things... But right now, it was the last thing on her mind.

Making her way into the worse part of the city, she found her way into an alleyway and then came out of it, attempting to blend into society. She made herself look like a helpless girl just on her way home as she walked, trying to make her steps seem nervous and unsure. She kept her gaze down to make sure no one saw her glowing yellow eyes. She was hoping her plan was going to work to her advantage... It had worked for her several times before, so she didn't know why it wouldn't work this time... Though, she figured she looked a little strange in this part of town with these clothes on... They were slightly expensive and they didn't look like they belonged in this era...

Though, her plan worked rather quickly... Someone soon grabbed her arm and pulled her back into an alleyway. A blade was pressed to her throat as she closed her eyes tightly when her head was forced up. She let out a loud sigh and a grunt when her back was slammed into the wall. There was a hand clamped over her mouth as she opened it to say something... It probably looked like she was about to scream to her attacker.
"Hey there, sweet thing..." the male whispered into her ear. He then pressed his hand into her shoulder. He pulled the knife wielding hand away from her throat and moved it down to her thighs. He pressed the cold metal of the blade to her skin softly and wanted to watch her jerk away from it, but she didn't. That made him rather pissed off. He pressed the blade back up to her neck and growled at her.
"What's your problem? Look at me while I'm talking to you," he growled out as he pressed the blade into her neck harder. "You're just too pretty for your own good, why are you out this late?"

Then Aza had enough of his husky, gruff voice... She opened her eyes and watched as he moved away from her some and actually dropped the blade. He went to run away from her, but she moved in front of him rather quickly to block his way. She grinned at him as he fangs began to protrude even longer than they already were. He was about to let out a scream and she could tell. She shook her head and placed a finger over her lips softly as she whispered out a "Ssshhh". Then she pushed him into the wall and pressed him against the bricks.
"It would appear that the tables have turned, my dear," she whispered into his ear. "Something wrong? You're so scared?"
This would have been easier for her, had this man not been so very tall compared to her. She pretty much had him on his knees before her as it was, because she wouldn't be able to do what she wanted without that being done.

Carefully, she sunk her teeth into his neck and muffled his cries. She tore at the skin with her teeth and allowed the warm liquid to trail down the sides of her mouth as he tried to fight against her. She was pretty damn strong for how small she was, so he was definitely going to just be a meal today... That was all he was. He was just her meal. And she was more than enjoying it. She licked at some of the blood she missed and then bit down in another spot for a fresh spray of blood into her mouth. He was already starting to fight less when she was almost full... So that was good. Really good. She licked her lips and wiped at some of the blood at the sides of her mouth. She bit the other side of his neck and enjoyed a little more of the amazing liquid from his veins before she took a deep breath and stopped her feeding...

Then, she grabbed the body under her arms and quickly tossed him into a random dumpster after slicing at his throat with the knife he'd had. Good thing she had gloves on today... She wanted to make it look like a murder instead of some other worldly attack... It was completely believable by the time she was done and then she made her way back to her home, even faster than when she left because she had much more energy. When she made it to her door, she was expecting her father to be waiting there at the door, but he wasn't. She shrugged that off and quickly made her way up to the bathroom. That was where she met her father... She instantly felt bad, but she tried to shake it off since she felt so good now... But as she looked down at her chest, she realized that she was pretty much covered in blood. That didn't look too good, did it?

The next morning, Draydon awoke on his bed, the smell of the brand new sheets filling his nose. He had disposed of both the old, ruined sheets and woman's body in the usual way he did; he took them to the outskirts of the city and burned them. There was always some place where nobody seemed to exist where he could take care of the evidence of what he had done. He sometimes missed the old days, when he could devour a human woman and just leave her, not having to worry about disposing of the evidence. Then again, he also had to compete with all of the other demons when he lived in Europe. He was one of the few who moved to America, which was lucky for him. He wasn't scared of the other incubi, but they could be very troublesome and he didn't like bothering with them.

The full meal from the previous night had made him groggy, and as he sat up he rubbed his eyes sleepily. He looked down at his hands and frowned. His nails were still a bit long, and his dark blue veins still protruded from the thin skin. He could guess that his eyes were still tinted black as well. After eating his demon form always wanted to stick around, even though he didn't want to be in it. He considered staying at home so that his body could go back into it's human form, but he actually was eager to get to school that day. Aza was there after all... he needed to make more ground with her. Maybe he could force his body to go back to its human form for the school day. He was sure he could actually... just as long as it was for the seven hours he had to be there, he wouldn't bother going to football practice. He had to be concentrated on holding his form or else something could slip up. He most had to concentrate on his eyes and the veins in his face, if that showed it would definitely scare every human in the building.

He got out of bed and stretched, cracking his joints and stretching out his muscles. At least his muscles had gone back down to their usual size and his hair had changed back to it's brown shade and was short again. It would definitely look strange if he came to school and was suddenly bigger and had a completely different hair style.
He walked into the bathroom and looked at himself in the mirror. He nodded, deciding that his body was close enough to being human-looking. He checked his teeth in the glass, dried blood still clinged to them. He turned on the water in the shower and stepped in, afterward he vigorously scrubbed at his teeth to remove the blood. He was satisfied when they shined their usual white. He decided it would be best to cover himself as much as possible, so he put on black jeans, a long-sleeved, close-fitting white shirt, and white sneakers. Not much different from his usual attire.
Before walking out of his apartment he put on dark, aviator glasses and threw his backpack over his shoulder.

He saw that he arrived at school earlier than he needed to, so he figured he could go by the field and check on practice to pass the time. The coach raised an eyebrow at him when he got there, but didn't say anything to him. Draydon sat down on the bench on the side of the field and watched as the players ran practice drills.

Shaking his head, Aza's father looked down at her as he stood. He just patted her on the shoulder when he walked over to her and he kissed a bare spot on her cheek. He didn't want to get blood on himself as it was, so he had to be careful where he touched. If she weren't so drenched, then he would have hugged her... But this was just so different... He hunched his shoulders and sighed softly, almost inaudibly in his utter disappointment. He knew she would be able to hear that... And that was what he was banking on. He wanted her to feel bad without him exactly having to do anything. He knew it wouldn't keep her from doing this the next time, but it was still parenting.

"I love you, Aza... Please be careful," he whispered to her as he took his hand off of her shoulder and left the room. That would surely do it... He knew it would. Aza always over analyzed things, so she was sure to feel bad. At least until tomorrow. He figured she might even brood over it instead of sleeping. He then remembered something and made his way back into her bathroom. "Don't forget to take your medicine." He then left her presence for good, knowing she would have to get some rest.

Shaking her head, Aza refused to feel bad about something she'd needed so badly. She just grimaced when he told her he loved her. She kept her gaze down at the floor, her face having defiance written all over it. She felt good now. Really good. She didn't care if it was morally wrong to feed off of people... And she wondered why her father even wanted her to go to school to begin with. She wasn't going to be able to feed off of someone she knew... Maybe he just wanted her to watch and study the humans or something. She wasn't entirely sure and that was sad...

Cleaning herself up, Aza crawled into bed after taking her pill. She then closed her eyes and drifted off to sleep with no problem... It was actually easier for her to sleep now than usual since she'd had such a good meal... And she didn't have any dreams, like always... So it was a pretty peaceful night. She woke when her alarm went off and she turned it off. She then stood from the bed and stretched herself some, feeling a lot better than she usually did in the mornings.

With all of this, she figured she should feed off of people more often. She grinned at that thought and then made her way to her bathroom. She did her normal morning groomings, with included a shower, drying her hair, brushing her teeth, and applying a minimal amount of makeup to her eyes. She then turned her attention to the closet and pulled out a pair of pants for one of the rare occasions in her life. She didn't feel like wearing a dress for some reason... Which was what she usually did wear. She shrugged the feelings off and tugged on the pants, listening to the chains rattle together. She liked that... She also liked that they fit her snuggly and perfectly. And nodded in approval before turning back to her closet for a shirt. She found one of favorites that she often wore with a skirt and pulled the fabric on. It also snugged her perfectly and she was glad of that. She felt good today, so she wanted to look good. She pulled on her boots and choker as well, inserting the floral hair clip she always wore. She then pulled on a simply pair of black and white gloves and was ready to go.

Grabbing her things, she walked out of the door and didn't even tell her father goodbye like she normally did. She felt kind of bad about that, but... She could talk to him when she got home. Right now, she wanted out of the house and she wanted to go to that art class... She was so sad that it was her last class though... She made it to the school just in time and walked into her classroom just as the bell rang. That was a close one.

The practice was pretty uneventful, just the normal things. When the other players spotted him after practice ended they all seemed to want to talk to him. Draydon tried not to roll his eyes at them, they were almost exactly like the girls there, prancing around him like they were in love.
"Hey guys, sorry for missing practice the past couple of days. Not feeling to well you know?" he said casually to them, not really caring about informing them. But he had to keep up appearances, at least until he was able to complete his hunt.

The classes passed by pretty quickly today for some reason. He figured they would go slowly but perhaps time was on his side today. He kept checking his hands, looking at the blue veins that still protruded under his skin. It didn't look too inhuman, but he knew that it would be something that would make another stare. He couldn't take away concentration away from keeping his eyes and face in human form so he had to let a bit of his true form slip through. He pulled his sleeves down further, trying to hide the backs of his hands.

- -

Sasha woke up that morning in high spirits, humming the entire time she got ready for school. She wanted to look nice today, so she pulled on a sleeveless, ice blue dress that hugged her body until it flared away from her hips, the bottom of it hitting right above her knees. She pulled on some dark brown sandals and pulled her hair up on top of her head in intricate braids. She put on a small amount of makeup to bring out her features and finally added a white chiffon hair pin onto the side of head above her ear. She smiled into her bathroom mirror and skipped out of her home, grabbing her bag on her way out.

Even that horrid math class went well for her that day. While she was still confused, she seemed to understand more than she had the day before. Lunch came quickly, and Sasha sat with the nice girls she had sat with yesterday, chattering like a normal teenage girl.

The alarm went off, but Cam wasn't up for it. He didn't feel like football practice. He ruffled his hair and just rolled over in bed after resetting his alarm. He finally got up in enough time to just get ready and leave. He did just that, pulling on the first thing he found in his closet. That just so happened to be a simple black shirt with 3/4 sleeves and a pair of blue jeans. He pulled on a pair of black sneakers and then grabbed his hat, putting it on his head. He then grabbed his notebook and a pencil, putting it behind his ear. He was then on his way to school.

The day went by pretty smoothly... Especially since he only had one class before lunch now. He sat there through class, getting some nasty looks from his football buddies that made himself and them both laugh rather lightly. They didn't really care that he wasn't there, but it was their job to give him a hard time about it. He liked that because it was always amusing... Because of their random inside jokes they obtained from practice that no one else seemed to understand. He tried to avoid most of the football people though, because they were just not the kind of people he wanted to talk to all the time... But it was lunch time finally and he was more than willing to sit with them all at the same table, so he did just that.

----

When she finally made it through the day to lunch, Aza wasn't sure how to feel. She inhaled deeply and then shook her head when the bell rang for that useless moment of the day. She then rose from her chair and made her way towards the lunch room. She could feel the chains smacking against her thighs and for some reason she felt insanely good today... She wasn't sure if it was how she was dressed or the fact that she'd eaten yesterday... Or perhaps a combination of the two... She just felt like she was invincible for some reason. It made her not know why her father wouldn't feed off of people anymore...

Making her way to an empty table, Aza sat down and opened up her sketch pad. She stared down at the delicate looking female she had been drawing before and she shook her head. She didn't want to draw that right now. She felt too good to draw something that sad looking... Or anything at all. She put her pencil down and leaned back in the chair, sighing rather heavily. She then looked around the cafeteria, having nothing to take up her time or attention at the moment.

The cafeteria was filled up by the time Draydon got there. He had stayed back for a while, not really wanting to get there too fast. He wasn't sure why... maybe he just didn't want to interact with all the humans in there. Aza was different today also... she seemed more... confident. She wasn't as shy and retiring, even though she stayed quite and kept to herself. It made her all the more desirable. She could be shy and feminine but she could also be strong and fierce.

He shook his head clear of thoughts as he walked over to his usual table full of the football team. The players greeted him with grins but he didn't return them.
"Hey! Cam and Dray, how come neither of you were at practice today?! Were you both enjoying each others company?" one of the players jabbed. The team joined in with his laughter, but Draydon just frowned. He looked over at the other player, Cam, his brow furrowing. This kid had always seemed strange to him, but he couldn't say why. Something was... off about him. His fist involuntarily clenched into a fist, the veins showing through the skin. He shook his head and blinked, sensing that his eyes had started to turn black again. Nobody should have seen, it only happened for a moment. He took a deep breath, trying to let out a tiny amount of his built up energy. The meal last night had left him with excess energy as it always did. Usually after he ate he wouldn't still be around humans and he would be able to get rid of the energy by excessive exercise, like chasing and hunting wild animals or running up and down a mountain. He let out a bit more than he meant to, making the veins stand out on his face and his eyes turn completely black. He dropped his head down quickly, banging it against the table with a loud smash. The other football players jumped up in surprise and then started asking if he was ok and what happened. He kept his head on the table for a few moments so that he could collect himself. He raised his head up off the table and grinned at the surrounding people, now half the cafeteria was staring.
"I'm fine, I guess I still feel sick from before..." he said in his most convincing voice. They looked pretty worried but also... scared. They wouldn't know why they felt scared of course, but he knew it was probably from the amount of energy he hadn't meant to vent out. He sighed inwardly at his clumsiness. He needed to do something about this excess energy, and soon.

What they implied was slightly awkward. Cam shook his head and laughed a little, but then he looked over to Draydon. It didn't seem like he was taking this as well as everyone else was... He watched him and then the hair on the back of his neck stood up. Cam's eyes widened a little right before the man's head hit the table. His heart was beating so fast right now... He didn't like this at all. He'd never suspected this before, but here was all of the proof he needed right in front of him... Draydon wasn't human...

Standing up suddenly, Cam left quickly, before Draydon even stood back up straight. He didn't like this at all and he wanted out of here. He made his way to the bathroom and bit his lip as he paced back and forth. He wasn't sure how he should feel about this, but it was something he should have seen coming... It bothered him so much that he didn't see it coming at all... He would have to ignore this fact though... He figured he could. He would have to, lest he make the fact that he wasn't human known. He knew he could do this. He took a deep breath inwards and looked in the mirror. He looked close to a nervous wreck right now, which made him think about just leaving school and going home.

----

Looking around, her eyes laid on Draydon. She wasn't nearly as intimidated by him as she was the day before and that made her confidence rise even more... She liked that because she was nervous to have him talking to her yesterday. This was a pleasant change in scenery that caused her to smirk at nothing in particular... Mainly herself... She crossed her arms over her chest and watched him as the table filled with large males said something to him.

Then she noticed something... He was trying to hide something and that was painfully obvious... And then her eyes grew wide as she felt the pulse of energy that had obviously come from him... But then he hid it as he slammed his head into the table and it made her jump when he did so. Her eyes were still wide as she looked down at the table to try to ignore what she'd just felt. Her hands were not gripping the opposite arms rather tightly as she tried to regain her composure. If he was strong enough to make her feel him, then he was going to have to be really strong... Whatever he was. She didn't want him to know that she felt that... That she knew where it came from. Not too much longer after he'd stood back up straight, she was fine again. She was a little shaken up and a little confused, but that was good... Because that would be how the humans would feel.

Sasha had been chatting happily with her new friends when she felt it. A rapid surge of energy that had to have come from a demon. Then the crash filled the room and she jumped. Her eyes widened, shocked that she had felt that energy. Then she felt her happy spirits tumble around her. She was such an idiot... she had been trying to act like a real human and live the normal teenage life she had missed out on. Her objective was to find where the energies were coming from and take care of them if she could. Call the higher ups if she needed to. Simple. But she had gotten caught up in the high school life. Her mind was so jumbled and confused that she couldn't tell where the energy had come from. One guy had slammed his head into the table, which is where the sound came from, but she couldn't be sure that that's where the energy came from.
She sighed and turned to her group.
"Hey you guys, I need to go to the restroom," she informed them as she got up and walked out of the cafeteria.

After composing herself in the restroom she heard the bell ring for the last class and went directly to it. She sat down in her seat in the art class and laid her head down on the table, dejected.

- -

The bell rang shortly after the incident and Draydon got up and went to his last class quickly. He actually was the first one in the class, which surprised the teacher. He didn't bother saying anything to her and sat down at his table. Maybe this setback wouldn't be a problem. Aza seemed like she wouldn't shy away from him so much today, so maybe he could actually make some progress with her. He kept his hopes up as he waited for the class to start.

By the time he was perfectly alright, the bell had rung. Cam shook his head and just made his way to the next class he had. Art. He'd missed it yesterday so he wondered what kind of awfulness he had to make up today as he walked through the door and smiled at the teacher. She smiled back at him, which made him feel better about this. He'd been the fifth person into the room, which wasn't bad at all... He made his way to his normal seat and sat down, drumming his fingers over the top of the table.

-----

Standing slowly, Aza shook her head and knew she couldn't let this rain on her parade. She inhaled deeply and put all of this behind her. She grabbed her things and began to walk towards her art class, rather happy and insanely confident again as she remembered that was her last class. It was the one she was wanting to go to... So why should she be awkward and upset during it? Like yesterday. She refused to allow that to happen. She was better than that now. Much better.

Stepping through the door, Aza inhaled the scent of the room. It smelled like color pencils with a slight hint of paint. She then made her way over to the seat and sat down. She placed her things on top of the table and pushed her bangs out of her face. She then sighed softly and leaned back in her chair, slouching a little. She felt so much better today for some reason... She didn't even feel any different sitting next to Draydon... She looked over at him for a moment, rather smug with herself for not being the normal shy girl she was.

The repetitive drumming on the table sounded in Sasha's head, and she lifted it to look up at a male student. His multi-toned shock of hair surprised her, but then she look at his eyes and was suddenly entranced. She sat up straight and smiled a hello at him. Who would have thought just seeing someone next to her would get her spirits back up?
"Hi there, my name's Sasha. You weren't sitting there yesterday," she said to him, still grinning brightly.

- -

He knew the girl seemed a bit different today, but she completely shocked him. Her demeanor seemed entirely different, and when she looked over at him with that smug expression he raised his eyebrows.
"You sure are... confident today," he said, a grin slowly spreading across his face.
Perfect. He was glad he had decided to come to school today. Perhaps her confidence was a one day only thing, so he had to make a move now.

Noticing that there was a new girl next to him, he looked at her with great interest. She was pretty and she seemed really nice, so it caused him to smile at her. He laughed at what she had to say and he shook his head. He sighed softly, forgetting all about what had happened in the cafeteria in an instant. It was amazing how just one person saying something to him could elicit that reaction, but he was glad... And the smile made it obvious as he nodded his head.
"I was just absent yesterday because I wasn't feel very well," he lied. He didn't want to tell her that he didn't want to come to school because he just didn't feel like it. That wouldn't be a good first impression now, would it?
"Oh. I almost forgot. My name is Cam. Nice to meet you, Sasha." He added another smile to that sentence.

-----

That caused her to laugh out loud, but only lightly. She leaned forward and pressed her elbow into the table and rested her face in her palm as she looked over at him. "It's amazing what kind of changes a person can go through just over night isn't it?" she asked him as she laughed again, but it was much more silent than the one before. She then sighed softly and looked around the room. there were still a few people that had to make their way into the class because of all of the empty seats. She shrugged and turned her attention back to Draydon, trying to see if talking to him would help her figure out just what he was.

Sasha frowned at what he said.
"Well at least you feel better now?" she asked, genuinely worried. Sasha had always been pretty gullible, both when she was human and as an angel. It was something that never seemed to leave her.
She smiled at him again when he said his name. Cam. It was nice.
The late bell interrupted her thoughts and made her jump a little bit. They were kept from talking any longer by the teacher who was telling them what they would be doing today. The assignment would be one that continued for a week, instead of a single day drawing.
They were going to have to draw the person next to them, which made Sasha blush without thinking about it. What should make her blush? She shook her head vigorously, she wasn't supposed to be acting like a little high school girl. She should focus on her real assignment.

The teacher went around and handed out large sheets of paper and drawing pencils to everyone in the room. She informed them that it would be good to at least get a basic sketch done today. They could draw a simple portrait of their partner or they could be more imaginative and come up with their own idea.

Sasha figured she should stick to a simple portrait, it would look bad enough like that. She sighed as she looked up at Cam, embarrassed that she would have to stare at him for the whole class period.

- -

"Sure is..." Draydon said. He was opening his mouth to say more when the bell stopped him and the teacher immediately began telling them what they would be doing.
As he got his sheet of paper he looked over at Aza, deciding that he would draw two portraits of her. He could finish it today... but maybe he should draw slower so that he wouldn't have to sit around for the next week.

He began to slide his pencil around on the paper, capturing the lines of her face perfectly. The page would show her two separate sides, the one from yesterday which was withdrawn and shy, and the one from today, which was confident and quick.
He didn't need to but he kept glancing up at her face. He was trying to decipher exactly what the change could have been brought on by. Maybe yesterday she was just feeling shy and awkward since it was her first day. He kinda doubted that theory though, something else had happened.

The only thing that could be worse than drawing yourself, would be to have to draw someone else. He sighed and took the paper from the teacher, thanking her with a small smile before turning to look at Sasha. He shook his head and laughed a little. He didn't want to draw her because he knew it wasn't going to be good... At all. He was going to do her face so much injustice. He sighed with that fact and shrugged it off. He just laughed a little and leaned close to her.
"I would like to humbly apologize for the mutilation that is about to happen to your facial structure. I'm not a very good artist at all," he said to her with a laugh. He then shook his head and began his work, not making it look nearly as bad as he was expecting... It looked kind of like her as he did the base lines and everything, but it didn't look like he wanted it to... It would have to do in the end though... He let out a heavy sigh as he looked back up at her again.

The response she got from him was completely acceptable and it made her smirk some. She then turned her attention to the teacher as she explained the assignment. She could definitely do that as she realized that Dray and herself had unconsciously picked themselves as partners... Even though there was technically a person on the other side of them both... But it was obvious to each of them that they should draw each other instead. She took the paper and laid it down, her eyes glancing up at him as she tried to find a plan of attack.

Then she started to draw the shape of his face... And as she did, she realized she was going to do more than one of him as well. As she drew the side of his square jaw, she knew she wanted to draw a side view and a front view of him. She couldn't lie to herself and tell herself that he wasn't attracted. He was, but she didn't want to think about that right now... but it was really hard to do when you were actually drawing the person you were trying not to think about. She was capturing his features perfectly in the side view, since she decided to draw that first, and she figured that she should slow down on her drawing. She was a fast drawer and she didn't want to not have anything to do for the rest of the week...

Sasha laughed lightly at Cam's comment.
"Don't worry, I'll be doing to same to you," she said with a quick wink.
She got to work on her portrait, constantly looking up at his face to see if she was doing ok. It definitely wasn't the real thing.
However, when she got to his eyes she seemed to grab artistic talent out of nowhere. She carefully traced her pencil across the page, capturing the icy eyes with precision. She spent a while on them, and when she finally done getting them sketched she looked up from them to take in the picture as a whole. It was a strange sight.

His eyes looked perfect in the center of his face, while the rest of him looked scribbely and lopsided. She started giggling at the ridiculous picture, clasping her hand over her mouth to muffle the sound.
"I'm sorry, this.... is just... so bad..." she said to Cam, laughing in between her words.

Even though Draydon had tried to slow himself down, he had gotten the drawing about halfway done when the class was about to end.
The two portraits looked like total opposites, which is what Aza seemed like today; completely opposite from how she had been yesterday.
He glanced over at her and the smooth, dark lines she had made on the paper as she drew him.

He could feel more energy building up inside of him but held it in. Maybe he would go outside the city and just run around as he released the energy. He didn't have many options dealing with that.
His thoughts were interrupted by the teacher who was coming around. She told both of them that they were quite fast drawers and wanted to know what they're inspiration was for what they were drawing.
Draydon frowned and ran his hand through his dark hair, sighing.
"I guess... mine is just because Aza was so shy yesterday but today she seems a lot more confident. So I'm drawing that," he told the art teacher, his brow furrowed with annoyance.

The drawing wasn't looking nearly as bad as he was expecting it to. He sighed as he got pretty much everything evenly balanced. He was drawing her in a more... Cartoony style that he was wanting to though. He knew it didn't look realistic in the least, but he didn't really care too much. It was still a portrait of her. Sadly though, he took a lot of time on drawing the lips. He kept looking up at her and back down at the page, forming them almost perfectly. He wasn't sure what the attraction was there, but... He enjoyed the way he was drawing them.
When he was done with the lips, nothing else on the paper looked too good anymore and it made him feel kind of strange. She shrugged the feeling off and just stretched out his shoulders some. He then looked down at his rather childish looking drawing and then back to her, laughing lightly. He then looked down at her drawing of him and couldn't help but laugh. It wasn't bad, but he found her reaction to be comical.
"It's not bad, Sasha," he said as he continued to laugh. "I really like how you did the eyes though."

-----

It was rather strange for her to be drawing him like this... The perfection before her becoming utter perfection on her page as well. It made her not like this drawing or the person the more she sketched it... But then when she finally took a small mental break from this and looked down at his own drawing, it made her blush slightly. He'd drawn two pictures as well... And one was of her yesterday. He'd apparently been over analyzing things... How could he remember it so perfectly? But then again, it was pretty easy to remember those features when the person was sitting right in front of you. She shook her head and then looked back down at the picture she'd been drawing.
Making some more jots and lines on it, she was rather proud of her work. She'd not added all of the detail she wanted to, mainly in the hair, but... It was good... Really good... The expression she'd drawn on his face in the front view made her have to look away though. It just made her want to smile because that was how she drew him... Smiling.
Then she turned her face up to look at the teacher. She laughed a little when he explained why he drew it that way. Aza then looked back towards the teacher.
"I drew it this way because you can't fully capture all of the features of someone if you draw them from one perspective... Had I just drawn a front view, you would not have been able to see the squareness in his jaw... But had I only drawn the side view, you would not have been able to see so much more," she explained to the woman, glancing back down at her picture and then back towards Draydon.

"Yours isn't bad either," Sasha said to him, still giggling a bit.
The teacher soon came around to ask about their drawings but neither of them had a very good explanation about why they did what they did. Pretty much because it was the easiest thing to do.
The class finished up quickly after that, and when they were done they were all told to put their drawing into separate shelves until they started working on them again tomorrow.

Sasha started gathering up her things then, sad to have to go back to an empty apartment and even more sad that she knew she would have to really get to work searching for this demon by herself. She sighed before rising back up and throwing her bag over her shoulder.

The teacher quickly moved on and after that they were left to continue drawing for the rest of the class. It went by quickly, and after the bell rang Draydon immediately stood up and got out of the room. He wanted to go burn off that energy soon, he hated bottling it up, he was just about to explode from it actually.
He practically ran back home, not even bothering to talk to Aza again before he left.
