Warm Bodies | #1 | ||
I've just seen an ad for Warm Bodies. From what I can gather, a male zombie falls for a female who is still living... And he learns to be human again.
It actually sounds kind of interesting. Anyone else think this could be a good movie to go see? -Hiatus- Leave a message.

It does sound interesting. But we'll see. I'm curious to see who the actors are and if they're any good or not. >.>

I'm interested in it to say the least. It should be quite different for sure.

I thought it looked like a spoof, too. But really do want to see it. I like Hoult (main dude in it, too). So it should be REALLY entertaining.

Okay, I know this is double posting, but I just wanted to post in this thread again because I went to a screening of this movie last night -- and I REALLY ENJOYED it. It was cute, fun, funny, and enjoyable all together. It was acted really well, and it wasn't all about the ~love story~ for me and more about human connections.

The ad I saw got me so interested, I went same day to get the book, and already finished reading it.
Excited doesn't even cover how I feel about the movie. I adore this take on zombies.

...That sounds like a terrible movie. It's just as bad as vampires falling for humans. THEY ARE EVIL. LEAVE THEM BE! They ruin the whole idea.. -Sigh.-

... Evil? Zombies?
No no no no, not at all. They're not evil. Sure, by our standards what they do is bad, but so are many of the things that animals do. It's survival, not evil. Their killing us is no more evil than us killing them. People only view it as evil because they're in survival situations. The story of it makes that point even more clear, which is especially good because a lot of the casual zombie fans will only be familiar with the idea of eradicating all zombies for human survival. They need the view really shoved in their face to understand the theme can be so much more than mindless gore.

It's actually a story of a zombie that ate the brain of the leading lady's boyfriend and apparently the love was so strong that the zombie kind of turned into what seemed to be "human" and fell in love all over again with the girl.
I say it's twilight. Only for zombies. I may watch that (or even read the book), for two reasons, a) for the lulz and b) to criticize it properly. sorry guys .A. just putting my opinion.
