MY CRICUT ARRIVES TODAY. Also my house is cleaner than it has been in probably a few years. Mom and I have been working our asses off to get stuff ready to be moved around to create "Dianne and Emily's House of Craftsâ„¢"

Ugh, I'm mad because I want to upload a pic of the shawl I finished over the weekend, but I can't because the museum's wifi is turned off and the wifi at Joann is super shitty, so it cuts out a lot and my upload keeps timing out without good wifi. XP
Update: only the main floor and basement wifis are off. Connected to 2nd floor wifi. Finished dragonfly lace shawl!

I love the shawl, Kaderin!
Alsoooo I GOT A BOX! A SHINY BOX! WITH STUFF! SHINY STUFF! AND IT FORCED ME TO MAKE THIS! The card was basically like a tutorial for the Cricut. I also cut out a butterfly and cat on adhesive vinyl.which I stuck to a painting then painted over and once it is dry I can try to peel up the vinyl to have a silhouette of the cat/butterfly. I AM EXCITE! ಠ_ಠ

Almost done with your scarf ^^

Just spent two hours hand sewing an 11 foot seam on something only to discover I sewed the wrong sides together and have to rip it all out and start again... *soft sobbing*
Answer my riddle to earn a prize!
You'll always feel it, but can never see it. It's strong but shatters easily. You can give it away but never hold it. What is it? Pm me the answer, no cheating please!

Ripping out seams is the worst part of sewing possibly worse than stabbing yourself with a needle. ; 0;
Huzzah for scarves for Derpy! AND KADERIN NEEDS TO MAKE DERPY A SCARF SHEESH! Just do the thing! -flails menacingly- I set up some shelves today and about killed myself in the process. 8'D ಠ_ಠ

Dunno, I actually like ripping out seams. There's something deeply satisfying about a destructive-but-not-really-destructive task. But I nevertheless understand how it sucks to essentially have worked the last few hours for nothing just because you made a stupid error somewhere earlier. They say you learn from mistakes, yet sometimes it would be nice to just learn without them.
