I think In the End was the first song a lot of people heard.
I'm only a man with a candle to guide me I'm taking a stand to escape what's inside me A monster, a monster I've turned into a monster A monster, a monster And it keeps getting stronger

What was the first song of theirs that got you hooked?
I think it was 'In the End' on the radio Favorite album? Hybrid Theory (the studio album not the EP) Do you like them better in their early work or now? I think i like their earlier works because it had the joining of rapping with the alternative rock theme and the lyrics seems more complex as well as the music video. Watch in the end official music video, it's very abstract 0_0. Also, have any of you listened to Chester's side group Dead by Sunrise? No i have not, but I'll put that on my list to listen to

First song I heard was probably Crawling. Favorite album is everything before Minutes to Midnight.
I kind of stopped listening to Linkin Park after Minutes to Midnight. It was really disappointing and I was kinda like "I quit!"

I don't remember what song I heard first of theirs. It was one of their big original songs. Favorite album? Maybe Minutes to Midnight Do you like them better in their early work or now? I don't have a preference. I love all their work. Also, have any of you listened to Chester's side group Dead by Sunrise? Yes just heard one of their songs and I love it. So <3 Chester's voice. »·,´·˙(´·˙¸ ¸˙·,)˙·,´•·˙·,¯´·˙·• •·˙·,¯´·˙·•╭☆╯•·.·´¯`·.·• •·.·´¯`·.·•´`·.(`·.¸ ¸.·´).·´`·» uǝʇʇoƃɹoɟ puoʎǝq sı ɔıƃɐɯ ɟo ǝʌol ǝɥʇ

What was the first song of theirs that got you hooked? I believe it was "In the End". I was going through some really rough emotional stuff at the time, so I could really relate to the song. Favorite album? The only albums I purchased were "Hybrid Theory", and eventually "Meteora". I'm not a fan of live albums, and "Meteora" without the live stuff bundled was hard to find where I lived at the time (Chester's hometown of Phoenix, AZ). I did finally find "Meteora" without all th live stuff, and snatched it up as soon as I found it. I would have to say that "Breaking the Habit" is my favourite song by them. "In the End" and "Somewhere I Belong " are tied as a close second. I almost wore out my iPod from listening to my fave songs from both albums on a daily basis. I REALLY love the video for "In the End". I'm a huge fan of the Chronicles of Riddick, and I think the video for "In the End" has that same feel. Do you like them better in their early work or now? I only know their earlier work. I find that with many bands, I prefer their first album (or in this case, first two studio albums) over all the rest. I guess I'm a stick in the mud LOL Also, have any of you listened to Chester's side group Dead by Sunrise? Never heard of that project until now. I really like Chester's singing voice and lyrics, so maybe I'll check them out ^_~ Hi! I'm Kat! Well, their latest album, LIVING THINGS, is out and I wanted to know if anyone else had listened to it as of yet.
Honestly, I think it is a return to more of what they did in earlier albums. My two favorite songs out of it are BURN IT DOWN, and CASTLE OF GLASS. I'm only a man with a candle to guide me I'm taking a stand to escape what's inside me A monster, a monster I've turned into a monster A monster, a monster And it keeps getting stronger

The first song I heard by Linkin Park, was "In The End". That song alone made me hurry to purchase "Hybrid Theory". I do prefer their older stuff but some of their new songs are pretty catchy. From time to time I still find myself throwin' on one of there older albums and rockin' out likeI'im 15 again haha. ^.^

The video was more likely to make me do that than the song itself.....

I definitely prefer their older work. Their newer stuff is just... no. I think I started liking them when I first heard "One Step Closer" or "In the End." They still remain my favorite songs by them, as well as "Numb."
