Yep, both materials used are cotton and the stap is...I think a nylon belting though idk for sure because the package for it doesn't specify material. It just says belting/strapping.

Yeah, I think the webbing like that's usually nylon. I was just trying to make a silly joke about the bag being cotton because of what the elf guy's saying. lol

I am bonkers. I have this older yarn that's a wool blend, and it's CURLY like a sheep, so I'm trying to make a sheep with it. And it's almost as hard to use as fuzzy yarn. Almost.

So far so good. I need to use a stitch marker so I don't lose the start of a row, but other than that the increases and stuff are going pretty smoothly. I'm not sure what it'll be stuffed with yet, because with the way the yarn's made I can't make tight stitches, but I think it won't be hard to figure something out.

Yes, Kaderin! I'd love to get some of the bright coloured plastic ones. I never realized that the funny shaped safety pin that I put on a toy horse's ear years ago was a stitch marker!

I've got stitch markers in mint green and orange, but wouldn't mind more color variety for some projects. Though depending on the project, I sometimes also use colored paper clips if I either need to mark stitches in a particular order or just can't find my good stitch markers.

Also...a bit thrown off. It's past noon on Christmas eve and I haven't had my schedule demanded of me for the annual kidnapping. Either my dad is really waiting until last minute or he is actually treating me like an adult and respecting my decision to stay at home this year (especially with covid still a pretty big issue and my working directly with the public more now than in years past).
I'm still betting on the former, but may need to make a quick run to the grocery store just in case. >.>

I just have metal ones. Two brass, and a kind of steel coloured one that I hung a little frog from.

Got the sheep's muzzle and ears made today, since they need to be not wooly. I'm not sure if it's going to have legs.

Oh oh. If you need that grocery run, I suggest getting a little squash and pretending it's a turkey (stuffing, gravy stuff, and all).

Unfortunately the only store I have easy/quick access to without a car has garbage for produce options and hasn't had any squash at all this fall/winter and no sweet potatoes either, which would be my second choice for a "seasonal" food item, that wasn't an option. And I don't really feel like cooking up anything fancy for just me. So I bought cheese pizza rolls and mac & cheese. And also eggnog to go in my coffee and a sparkling cran-grape juice. I tried to think up something else, but idk, I was trying to hurry because even though they were still open for a couple of hours, I didn't want to be there too long.
