She stared at Lumael a little taken back by his abrasiveness. Then she rolled her eyes dismissing his attitude “Just surprised to see students in here this early that’s all. Most students at least wait a week before hurting each other this seems like a record.” She took a pen out from her hair to take notes on the clipboard that she was carrying. “You two didn’t even make it to orientation yet.” She clicked her pen ready to write down what was wrong with them. The sound made Ryan jump to alertness. “Which one of you needs attention?”

Lumael smirked and pointed at Ryan, "He needs help." He chuckled at the small bit of amusement he got from poking fun at Ryan. And he was glad that they did not attend any orientations. It meant big crowds and Lumael was not the type to enjoy large groups since it usually meant that it was too difficult to do anything he wanted. But on the other hand, if students were going to end up hurting each other, he assumed he wouldn't have to do much to get things into a mess at the school when there would be others who would do it. He could just watch the destructive behavior from the sidelines and still enjoy it. He sighed and looked back at Ryan, and then poked Ryan's ear, "Yes he does."

Ryan bounced up high enough that he could fold his feet underneath him. “I do not!” He said in his defense. He looked angrily at Lumael. “You were the one that couldn’t walk.” He looked at the nurse “He kept falling.” She was clearly not amused by either one of them. She wasn’t sure which one she believed. “If neither one of you are actually hurt then I think the principal needs to hear about you trouble makers before the school year starts. He just loves practical jokers..” She gave both of them a pensive glare wondering which one would break first.

"You really want to tell the principal about us?" Lumael wrapped an arm around Ryan's shoulder and gave two brief tugs to make it look like they were buddies who were working together. "Really?" Lumael gave the nurse a maniacal grin similar to one you would find on a homicidal maniac who had just found the perfect victim. Then he crossed his arms while making himself look intimidating through a threatening stare straight into the nurse's eyes, as if to say, 'I will make sure you suffer if you even attempt it'.

Ryan was not sure what was going on. He had stopped paying attention to the conversation. He was shaken back to reality when he realized Lumael was hugging him. That made Ryan very happy. He licked the side of his face again and grinned. The Nurse blinked and then said, “You two come with me please.” She spun on her heels and walked out the door. She turned to see if they were following her tapping her foot impatiently at the door. “We have a zero tolerance for jokers. You children all think alike, just because you have powers doesn’t mean you can abuse this school.” She said flatly waiting for them to comply.

Although Lumael didn't really like the affection, it did add a nice touch to the current situation. But he couldn't imagine that Ryan had any idea what was actually happening. He figured that Ryan was most likely reacting to the arm wrap as a sign of actual friendship instead of what it was actually intended for. Lumael rubbed his chin and then looked at Ryan, "So what says you? You want to follow the nurse lady?" Whatever the answer was, Lumael would probably play along with it to aggravate the nurse even further. At least one thing was turning out well, or so he thought.

[Mirror Gardens]

The school seemed abandoned. Carew had yet to see another student on campus. She had arrived early, her parents had eagerly shoved her out the door toward the cab that would take her to the school, and had been on school grounds ever since. She had made a few runs around the school before deciding to go see the principal about where she will be staying. When she had finally located the office the only person there was an assistant who said the principal had not arrived yet. Other than that the woman was useless. She seemed incapable of acessing any files, so having her look up her records would probably be a waste of time. So Carew had simply opted for sitting and reading outside the principal's office till he or she arrived.

Ryan was even more confused. She had told them to follow her didn’t she? He nodded his head vigorously leaping to his feet from Lumael’s side. He reached down and picked up the boy again with a big smile. At some point he had made it his join to be Lumaels personal chauffeur. He looked at the nurse. “Lead the way.” The nurse just shook her head, wiping non-existent sweat off her brow. With another sigh she lead them further into the school pausing at a cloister offices near the infirmary. Ryan noticed another girl setting there along with a woman. The nurse went to talk to the woman in a low whisper. Ryan wondered where he should put Lumael.

Lumael nearly yelped from being lifted off the ground. He didn't even get the time to grab something to at least chuck at the nurse. So all he did was remain silent the whole way during their trip to the office, but feeling overly embarrassed by the display. But now that they were in the office, he was somewhat annoyed that Ryan was still holding onto him, "Are you going to hold me the whole way through?" He lifted an eyebrow, questioning Ryan.

Ryan looked down at Lumael. “I thought that your legs weren’t working?” He said puzzled, looking down at him. He wondered if he should drop him and if he did would he bounce back like a cat. He decided that just dropping him was mean. He scanned the room looking around for somewhere to put him. Another young girl already occupied the chairs. His ears drooped a little. “Where do you want me to put you?”

Anurah was standing against a wall she had finally made it there using the transit system and had a hard time her tail would flick ever so often as she wondered how she was to get around such a big building. She glanced up a few times her ears twitching but only to see students mildly walking about. She let out a small sigh she had known she would have to dis attach herself from the wall but she wasn't certain when to do so. she timed when people left and when people walked by but her heart would race to fast for her to actually commit the move.

Lumael shook his head, rolled himself out of Ryan's arms and landed firmly on the ground. His legs wobbled but he finally straightened them out and held himself there without shaking, which he was glad for since this meant he could dash away if he needed to. Though, just in case, he held onto Ryan's shoulder just in case something were to happen and he didn't want to fall over in front of other people. He glanced around, and in fact, they were in a very good position to make their getaway since there was a clear way to the exit.
