Honestly, the weedwhacker is a bit odd, but the rest are not such strange toys. Tbh, I think I actually had a ball like that when I was a young kid. And Derpy could totally build a box fort and hang out with the bird in it.

I have a ton of pool noodles. I use them for swordfighting! (Same game as the tongue twister spell.)

>u> It wasn't a childhood toy but the weed whacker was definitely played with too often.
@ Kaderin: Did the ball vibrate and play Wipe Out??? 8o Cause that's what mine did! @Coda: >xD Ah, I used the pool noodles as water tubas. x'D

*growl* i'm tired of my boss not getting the coronavirus stuff "why are they closing schools? why this, why that, why the economy... over something that might happen..."
my mom asked me if my boss was a trump supported. i replied "how'd you guess?" and the trumpists in the Senate rejected a package that included free testing for everyone, because mcconnell is an a$$. sorry, just shouting my frustrations at my boss and the idjits in DC into the void

:/ My school is canceling face-to-face lectures for a couple weeks or so as a precaution, since there haven't been any confirmed cases on campus.
I'm so happy to not go to class, pay for parking, stay for an hour and then drive home! 8c Our class stuff will be moved online temporarily. Although, it's sad that people are both panicking and wandering about with poor health habits and allowing the virus to spread. B[ I'm not surprised anymore. I've accepted that brains are in short supply. At least for now I'm allowed to be a hermit in peace without judgment. <:']

*sigh*
my younger daughter's college has cancelled the rest of the semester for in-person classes - they're going to online classes, which resume the 23rd... spring break is this week, but we still have to go back out across the state to move her out of the dorm on sunday. weird semester this has turned out to be....

I don't think mine ever did either of those, but probably because it was annoying and my parents either removed the batteries (if it's possible to) or just made sure it was broken. I honestly remember very little about my childhood. Pretty much everything from highschool and back has been mostly blocked out.

I remember certain events from when I was younger, but the majority of smaller things are just....blanks.
Of course, I could say that about most events 5+ years ago probably. My life is just so boring and tedious that it's so easy to jumble everything togther and just remember the "big" events. Tbh, I actually even forgot how old Shade and Batty are (they turn 8 and 7 this year, respectively) until I was talking it out one day.

I remember a lot from High School and Elementary.
;_; Mostly because I have a good long term memory but a decently weak short term memory. But also because school was unkind to me, and even some of the students... More so in Elementary than High School, >.> since I later developed a good defense mechanism and was shielded by my friend group. But in Elementary, I had to constantly fight back bullying and ostracizing peers, B/ which was annoying as hell and terribly lonely as one of the only tomboys... Middle school tho was kinda forgettable. xD Not much happened besides me being introduced to anime, and getting into video games more.

i remember i was picked on for liking to read and write stories, but i don't remember many of the details. and i've learned that they way i remember things were not the way they actually were, but rather my perception
