Maybe? I bought the pattern at Joann Fabric though so idk if the pattern creator has a way to me contacted or not. Tbh am thinking I can always just make the mesh pocket out of fabric instead. Have figured out that I could cut one piece of fabric much smaller than the pattern calls for, but that's just for bag handle and strap loops (it's meant to be convertible from messenger bag to backpack to tote bag, etc with the straps). And I only needed to cut one strap piece instead of 2.
But beyond that, I think I might just have to trial-and-error it to figure out what I'm doing.
Am doing a test-run of the pattern with some Jaws and sharks fabrics I have left over from my skirt making.

yeah, that happens. when I'm making an amigurumi, the length of the tail doesn't bother me - it counts as stuffing XD

Kaderin, oh right, patterns don't always come directly from the creators. D'oh! That sounds like a good idea though, to use the normal fabric, and the bag sounds like it'd be really useful!

fair enough. but some of my stuffing is also yarn ends that I've cut from other amis! XD

yeah, i get that. some of my stuffies are also stuffed with ribbon ends and little pieces of thread and elastic. if it's a big enough ami, I'll use fabric scraps as well.

I ganked off Mushi's cap again last night and took the stuffing (that I wasn't supposed to put in to start with) out of it. Now he can stand up with just one try instead of three. I also juggled dolls and found him and his little sister apartment space over by my other Crafty Intentions doll, the centaur that was crochet by the artist. So now his cap sits lower, and his grumpy little face is shadowed. Even more grumpy fu!
