Lol. In my apartment, if it hits above 80°F outside, it's too hot to cook. If I could live off of cold cereal and/or yogurt all summer, I 1000% would just to avoid turning on the stove/oven.

Not sure what that is in Celcius, but I know it's too hot to cook here now. I've been eating dried beef, gluten free bagels and doughnuts, cold cereal, and macaroons (not macarons, these are the ones with coconut).

80F is a bit warm, i agree! a quick google search says that 80F is 26.67C. that's about when i start to melt.

today it was 98F/36.6C. yikes!

Lol. I was just doing the math on that.
Basically, if it's a good 5-10 degrees hotter in my apartment than it is outside, ESPECIALLY when it hits above 80°F/27°C outside. So yeah...add cooking and it gets even more miserable. I'll have to dip into savings a bit tomorrow to buy some groceries as I have nothing right now beyond some rice and a can of tomato sauce and I'd really rather not cook.
So I'll buy some fruit and yogurt and possibly muffins and bell peppers on the way home from work. Anything I can eat raw and at least pretend is kinda healthy.

Spent the whole morning crocheting a mushroom cap, and then found out I didn't have enough yarn. AHHHHGGHHH. I'll have to find another pattern to use the beautiful old vintage Mayflower Sahara yarn (like Piggy's made from, Den), and another beautiful texture yarn to make the big mama shroom out of.

Ahhhh. About the same temp here! And like I've been whining, we don't even have AC. LOL If someone wants to come into this apartment right now they're out of luck, because I'm not putting on more than my underthings and some wet handkerchiefs.

Wugh. Same here, except right now I think I've actually managed to get it cooler in here by a little bit. Even the WIND is hot, and that's not normal for here.

I've got to get groceries too. But I think I'll just order them this time. It costs more, but I'm going to be at the beginning of the month. It's just too bad that the things I want most only come from the farmers market, and I forgot to get them/get enough of them last weekend. *shoots self with finger*

Was gonna hit a bigger grocery store as they have better fruits and veg varieties, but it's hot and I heard the street I'd have to cross to get to it is a madhouse today so I think I'll hit the smaller one closer to my apartment. Less healthy varieties, but I can pick up some bagels and cream cheese. Lol

it wasn't tooooo bad today. we did have t'storms come through, and there was even a tornado watch for my town! after about 20 minutes, and the storm moving quickly, they canceled the watch. *whew*
