It doesn't seem like a logical correlation to me, but it might explain why Chell was in the facility to begin with and not one of the walk-off-the-streets-to-earn-$60 testers.
Co-op is tedious with boyfriend, as he has a tendency to take over the level and try to solve it all himself. <_< I can't wait to play with other people over PSN. The ending seemed to have a clear note of finality, but I really, really hope that there's a third Portal! There's so much that needs to be answered!

Maybe, but I've also heard a theory that GLaDOS just kidnapped Chell on Bring Your Daughter to work day, probably because of all the science experiments in the one part, hers was the most sciencey. I'm not sure though, I'm only halfway through the game despite reading a bunch of spoilers.
And oh, I haven't even touched co-op yet. Despite the taking over bit, is it fun?

xD That's an interesting theory. One of the only experiments that didn't use potatoes...
Co-op is pretty fun. If you try in some places you can actually get through with just one person, but for the most part every puzzle NEEDS two people to get through it. I haven't been all the way through, but so far it doesn't seem to be story-based at all, just an excuse for two people to play together.

I just beat it last week and I'm going through the game again to get trophies.
The Overclocker achievement actually took me three tries, not counting my first run through of the game. One of my favorite achievements was rescuing the turret from getting destroyed, especially the little dialogue it had too. Broken Spirit

I have never heard of the game until my brother asked me to buy it for him and we've been playing co-op since we got it. It is fun, I love playing with the portal guns. My brother hates it when I "accidentally" kill his character XD. I haven't tried playing by myself yet, but my brothers have finished the game...pretty sure.

If anyone has Steam, they recently released the workshop for Portal 2 where you can create/download SP maps from users. It's amazing. *w*
I used to download maps off Thinking with Portals but this is so much more convenient. no co-op ones yet, I think.
