I feel like I'm on the verge of a breakdown that I can't afford to have. Every minute trying to rest is wasted, but every minute trying to get things done leaves more hollow, leaves more room for aches and pain and that familiar coldness. I spend so much time in my days trying to reach a point where I can function, even if only for a single task. I don't want to keep doing this. I can't focus. My head aches. The clock is ticking, I'm getting nothing done, but if I try to rest I know I won't. The itch is too deep. Too incessant. More and more, I've been thinking of old tools of the trade. Of old memories, old hurt. I'm terrified that if I break now, I'll return to what I was then. I'm terrified of not doing better. If this is the best I can be, what's the point in any of this?

My head hurts. The rats keep gnawing. If I don't finish what I'm trying to do now, it won't get done. But it's so hard to breathe with everything taking up so much space inside of me. Maybe soon I'll stop crying.

So I got a minor concussion on Sunday and havent been able to shake this really bad headache since then. If I still have it tomorrow I will have to go to the hospital to ake sure I am not seriously injured.

Augh! I am really upset at not having a car tonight because a couple of LGBTQ+ teens are having trouble getting a ride home (I was trying not to eavesdrop, but from what I can tell, the one person's mom disapproves of the other person so won't pick either of them up because of it) and I want to be able to help them, but I can't because I don't have a car!

yes, but that's not gonna stop the rich twats from privatizing any last bit they can get.

i have friends that *need* the things that the nhs does. the tories have fuckin slashed disability and autism funding, and they're planning to fuck more things up for the poor folk.

i'm just wondering if this is all there is.

the only plus side is that HRT is covered under the NHS.

I desperately wanted to like the new Cats. The wee theater need inside me wanted to love it... But it looks awful. I will reserve final judgement for when I actually see it, but yeah it hit the uncanny valley and then just stayed there.

I forgot to take my meds before I fell asleep, so I took them when I woke up in the middle of the night but now I can't go back to sleep. I have had hell sleeping lately and my work is suffering for it. I also have just been hella tetchy and on edge

;n; I feel your pain Ava...I failed my permit test 6 or 7 times before actually passing.
;_; and now I failed my driving exam a total of 4 times...5th time likely coming soon on Dec 23rd. Right on time for Christmas. ;u; </3

Edit: o_o; just realized "a permit test" doesn't necessarily mean for a vehicle license. Is it for a driving license? I'm sorry, totally went on assumption there. <x{

Ugh. I have got so much stress and anxiety right now.
Mainly because a guy stole a super expensive sewing machine yesterday at work and then the boss was saying that if we get hit with too many more big stoplifts/our shrink amount gets too high, they will shut us down.
And I don't want to lose another job like that because it sucks. And job hunting is hard, but I can't just work only at the museum because they don't give me the hours and wages I need to work only there.
