Oof, finally dug around and got my closet reorganized. I think once I finish up my current "commission" orders (mainly just a hat/scarf combo and a little cookie for Custard), I may submit a monthly (or weekly) "frog or finish?" wip so you all can decide whether the project is worth finishing or if it should just be frogged (rip-it, rip-it).

I frogged one project today.
But only because the instructions for the project were/are incomplete and no one can get hold of the creator for the completed instructions.
HOWEVER, I have a project with actually complete instructions that utilizes a similar stitch pattern but as a triangle shawl instead of a rectangle, so I can maybe attempt that after I finish my big bag-o-wips! (A few of my wips are too big to be quick finishes, but I can plan on trying to do 1 row per night or something on them.)

And will probably frog one more just because it started mainly just to test different looms for a blanket and the yarn isn't that soft and I'd rather get rid of it and use a better yarn later on.

Edit: also as promised like a month ago, I have before and after pics of the closet cleaning/organizing. It still looks pretty messy/cluttered, but some of the stuff is yarn that I need to sort for gifting to people and/or for taking to goodwill because I'm being more picky about my yarn and not using stuff that's too rough/poor quality. Like all the cheap Red Heart yarns that people keep giving me (usually without me saying yes to it tbh) because "oh, you use yarn? I have a ton you can have for free!"

Also, the lowest shelf is now mainly projects that need minor finishing like weaving in ends and blocking and the bag in the center front on the closet floor is all wips and the yarn for finishing (if I have it). And one of the bags is yarn that needs wound/rewound/detangled and then those will go to special "scrap yarn" storage bins and will be out of the closet. I just ran out of energy before getting to that.

Tldr; closet is still a bit messy, but looks better than it used to and I will probably get it even more organized as I finish projects and pull put yarns I don't want anymore to give away/donate.

Hey Kaderin, I hope you don't mind me asking. Do you have a favorite clear polish for crafting projects? Or one that won't likely yellow?

Bio: tbh, I hadn't thought of yellowing being an issue (the only project I've done so far using multichromes and a clear coat are my scale gloves), so once I get to that point, I'll actually need to do research.

Google popped up a uv-resistant clear spray sealant that looked promising. Though I don't really have a good area where I can use it unless I take my stuff out to the alley.
Living in an apartment (with pets) can be difficult when you want to do certain crafts as it makes it harder to test stuff (especially resin-type stuff that has a lot of fumes). XP

Tam: These are the yarns I've pulled out of the stash today, I definitely have more to pull and take pics of, but you can have any of these that you want.

Sprays can be annoying in high humidity, too, because the moist air just eats it right up.

Kaderin... I want all of them, except the bright rainbow (too many memories attached to that pattern yarn). I'm sitting here flailing and freaking slightly at sight of all the beautiful colours.

Bio: Yeah, that can be an issue too.

Tam: You can absolutely have as many as you want. I'd just be taking them to Goodwill otherwise.

I'll have to sort through the rest of my yarn soon and see what else I can pull. XD
The ones pictured were literally only from 3 of my tubs in the closet (the other 3 yarn tubs are yarn cakes and yarns I plan to keep so I didn't need to pull from those), but I still have several trunks in the livingroom to clean out and a few drawers as well.

Holy heck. While digging around, found a ton more plushies (in various states of completion) than I realized I had.

If/when I finish them all, I'll actually have a pretty good stock for either Etsy or next year's farmer's market. So far am at 26 potential plushies, though 2 of them were/are custom requests (this is why I need deadlines, dangit! No deadline = you may never get your item!) so if they're still wanted, only 24 for potential selling. Lol.
