Demon's Song

Can't you hear them sing?
In the dead of night,

and so much more.
Listen to their song,

Beautiful yet horrible,
Listen but do not do what the demons sing of tonight.

The End

El fini,
It is ending,
The last call no longer sounds,
The voices silent.
We no longer wait at the gates,
But have entered them,
And the gates are closed,
Barred,
No one new may enter.
But most importantly no one can leave,
We stuck here,
At the end,
We have no hope,
We need none.

Blood

There is a price,
For everything.

It cost a couple thosand dollars.
For some people's lives,
They are paid in full with blood.

Blood money is my pay,
It is my cost too.
I can't walk amoung you,
My price is to light.
You have paid with too much,
Lost family,
Friends,
And conpanions.
My price is blood money,
Your friends and family.
I take forever and ever,
That is my price.

Why do you like white?
What do you see in it?
I like my roses blood splashed,
Not the color of fresh snow.
I like my grey city where the sky is always black,

I can't stand the softness,

Fear

They watch,
Now and forever
I'm not free,
And I can't walk the streets.

Just a small note: "spectra" is plural. It doesn't work right the way you're using it in "Murder". Either cut the "A" at the beginning of the line or change it to "spectrum". I think I'd personally go with the former.

Personally, I think the last two poems are better than what you have so far but that might be my personal taste coming in. Maybe they are just more to my liking. They feel less repetative and a little more intruiging.

Streets

Strew with garbage;
Human or not cannot be seen,
Paved with blood and bones,
This street,
Death and calamity,
This road paves the way.
The human way;
Through others bodies and dreams,
Nothing more then the worse,
To pave the way towards dreams.

Alone
Lost
Desolate,
But smiling a fake smile,
That is you,
You laughing fool,
Smile always on your face.
Desire to break it,
To destroy it,
Send it to its utter ruin.

Since most people won't get this imediatly it is written from the prospective of a abuser to their victim. It was a project for class we had to write a piece, whether in prose or poetry, about abuse. I am not privay to an abusers thoughts so I wrote my own ideas down, there is no science behind them and cannot be considered fact.


And now one that is actually rather upbeat:

Music

Dancing to the beat,
Swaying to the sound,
Perfect time,
Keeping count,
Offer hand
Offer dance...
Take care to kiss the hand,
Ask and take the hand,
Show them the dance,
Teach it to them,
Let them dance!

And yet a third:

Gone

Left by the road side,
Just the wind and the rain as company,
Made my own name away from you,
Not comeing back,
Not for you not for anything,
All's left is deed and will,
My birthright the dust,
My promise was death,
So I left.
Now the empty gaping hole is filled,
While absent from what was called 'Haven',
Gone,
And not returning

And I'm not sure what this last thing even is...It might be a poem, it might be a song, or it might be a piece of prose. Or maybe all three.

Forever

Never together,
Always apart,
To similar to be together,
To different to be apart,
So close yet so far.

It is forever the same song,
Stuck on repeat,
Over,
Over,
And over again,
It's driving me up the wall!

The same forever and ever,
No changing patterns,
No shifting sands,
Stagment,
Continuing,
Eternal,
Trapped forever,
In this static world.

Release the darkness,
That binds the here and now,
Walk again and don't be confined,
To the white walls of reality,
Sometimes the reigns muct be released,
And the mind let go,
Before brilliance can shine through.

Even the darkest gloom has a bright spot,

Forget the demon of the past,
The horrors of the future,
And the pain of the now.

Give it all to the wind,
And be alone,
Be remade without a facade,
Become, once again
A new made page.

Give Up

Nothing here for you,
Nothing left for anyone,
Give up, Idiots,
There's nothing left,
Not even an empty shell to pick at.
No empty and rotting corpse,
No silent mourners,
This place is barren,
And not even dead.
Just empty,
Empty without reprive,

I personally like them, especially the fire one...as some people have said, there were minor spelling errors and a bit cliche rhetoric, but still cool. i can tell you're getting better though :)

Thanks, Ninja. I'm trying to get better and fix everything but it is still all a work in progress.

Oh, and by the way, I got another:
Street Urchins

Blood strewn streets,
Human garbage,
Thrown out like the rags of yesterday,
Some will fight on,
While others will fade.
Some have an immortal fire in their eyes,
Yet others never lived,
As the refuse of the world.
You can remove them from the streets,
Hide them from the public,
Keep them far away from the hustle and bustle of life.

Warning a bit of language in "Human"

Human

Such a bitter thing,
To be human,
To feel
Thos damned emotions,
Why can we not see pass the cursed haze?
They are just fucking emotions,
Surely you can't actually feel them.
Human is such an ugly word,
It has no set definition
Homo Sapien,
That is preferable.
Not quite as human
And so much more real.
See as human,
You have to feel
Happy
Sad
Angry
You can't be logical and talk it all out,
Oh, god forbid, you have to fucking feel!
Being human is so hard,
So don't be human
Just forget the emotional programming and propaganda
Be a Homo Sapien
Logical, collected, and emotionless
So much easie then being human...

War Spoils

Blood won't come out of white,
Once soiled never pure again,
We dip our hands in death,
And paint out shields with blood.
We grin,
Showing broken and shattered lives,
We laugh,
And you hear screaming.
At one time we were something,
Something more then War Spoils.
Now our lives are chips,
And this is chess,
We're all pawns with no king to protect

I'm intruiged by "War Spoils" though I think you have some spell checker errors there, "out" instead of "our."

I like the game reference but to call them chips and then refer to a chess game is a little off. "Chips" make me think poker and gambling, but chess doesn't use them.

I changed the 'out' to 'our' I don't know how that was missed.


And the 'chips' is because it was originally
" Now our lives are chips,
And this is poker,
The one with the best mask wins."

I didn't like it so I changed the game to chess, but I used pawns in the last line and did not wish to repeat myself. I do suppose I could use 'pieces' though...
