Nope the AU item that month was Desert Normad. And yet you hardly see any of those around either.

I have a couple, but I use them. I don't think I can ever sell them if only for layering purposes.

It wasn't because of the event, its because yearlies were released on the 3rd of that month I think. And people of course spent all their runes on yearlies.
