I'm keeping my fingers crossed for now. Interviews are still going on where I applied, so hopefully I'll get lucky.

Ahh, gaming. Did a Jade Empire style game last night. Our group's third attempt at trying to run it. xD

Our GM loves Jade Empire. He knows the game like the back of his hand.

We manage to get decently far in some of the past attempts, but a lot of the times those games ended up on the back burner. Usually because other ideas take over and we all jump on board that game, or we just don't play often enough, or our players end up leaving the game for various reasons.

My main GM went in and out of depression so our games were like Every night for a week then no games for two months

There's always store run groups you could look into. But then would you be comfortable joining a group you just met?

Nope probably not.
I tend to be a loner... So I'm not really out going enough to be comfortable to just join a group that I don't know.
So. Unless I got some of my friends to go to (which is hard to do since we can't get together because of the different schedules) I don't think I would join the store run groups.

Ahh, see? This is where we need tech like the kinds they have in anime like Ghost in the Shell. Just run a nice gaming session with fellow Trisphites inside our own heads!

I mean really if we could play games with anyone those gaming sessions would be awesome.
I can't wait till technology lets us do that.

I know. I hope it will at least be somewhat affordable, or if will just become standard for everyone to have 'cyber-brains' by the time that kinda tech exists.

The first few things like that are gonna be outta this world expensive
but once tech gets that far i could see it becoming the standard.

Yeah, and can you just imagine how immersive that can get? It would take LARPing (Live Action Role Playing) to a whole new level, especially with the cinematic maneuvers that you'd be able to pull off, or the environments your characters would be in.

Well, I suppose that would take away the whole aspect of table-top gaming, though. xD

I prefer table top because then its friends having a great time with friends without the electronic influence that there is with MMOs and Online play with the other systems. Its face time. Where we all use our brains and have a blast. I'm not sure if it would be the same if it was computerized and placed inside our heads.
It would be interesting tho.

Hmm, yeah. The face time is always so much better, but the only danger is flying dice. xD Or spraying silly string at the GM.

Dice from a casino are the worst. Sharp corners.

Our group heard some random story that silly string was the only way to kill a GM. Just makes sure you have a lot of windows open. The fumes ain't good for you. xD
