I got the table moved in from my porch into my dining room, and my house almost completely rearranged

I was able to get on a bus back to my apartment 40 minutes before I usually do. I was so worried about waiting that long with how hot it is today (I'm really heat intolerant), so I'm glad that I got lucky with this.

I am making awesome progress on my mermaid blanket!
And also, Shade seems to finally be calming down to normal after the earthquake. Still a little twitchy with certain sounds and movement, but no longer jumping at the slightest bump or noise. Yay!

my daily awesome is its friday and theres almost nothing to do at work for me currently, and I get to go see our old roommates and their kids

I woke up earlier than usual and got a lot of housework done before work and also did a few rows on a blanket! And hopefully, because I was up earlier, I will get tp bed sooner than normal because I have to get up REALLY early (for me anyway) for training at my second job that I just got.

Tl;dr: I woke up early today and did stuff!

Yesterday I decided to walk into the park nearby that I've never actually gone into. They had swings! I love swings! Weeee!

Also, On the way to said swings, there was a lady walking three ferrets on a split leash. OMG so cute!

The butter chicken dip I had for dinner was also good, too. So many awesomes!

My daily awesome is my mother being alive.
She got rear ended at almost 40 miles an hour while she was at a dead stop waiting to turn.
Her back is in lots of pain and so is her stomach and collar bone, and she is really bruised.
It happened the day after a new law got passed about driving while on your phone (e-dui) and the girl that hit her got spiked with it, along with other tickets.
The girl admitted to my mom that was her 3rd accident that month.

I did the sheets today, and I put them on before bed so I don't have to make myself do it when I'm half asleep! Yay!

Also, when I went to pull them out of the drier, the fitted sheet had wrapped itself around everything else (minus a couple stray socks) so I had this little laundry packet I could just lift out.

There was a belated birthday today, therefore there was cake. I like cake.

And I have cake in the freezer. So, really, We have two cakes. This is awesome!

So...today started out bad, but turned pretty good! Woke up in a panic, got a friend to take me to work because I would have been almost 30 minutes late otherwise only to find out my shift didn't start for another 2 hours. So I had time to go get some breakfast!

As someone who is almost always in a rush in the mornings, I can agree that is awesome. :)

My nephew was singing a song that I thought I recognized it. He was singing the Roooooooock! bit from Kickapoo. The kid apparently likes Tenacious D! So we were watching music clips from the film. He wanted to watch the "demon" one, and proceeded to tell me during the video how Satan was a demon because he was using the "demon code." He watched the video a couple of times.

About half an hour later, I hear a demon voiced, gravelly "ffffuuuuuUUUUUCCKKKK!" coming from the living room. He has moved on from Kickapoo.

He's 4.

Oops.

My sister just shrugged.

More amusing (and mildly concerning) than awesome but I did decorate a panda cake today! Haven't tried any fancy cake decorating in a while.
