there's a LOT happening in the US, quite a bit of it political, so i won't mention any of that.

but - there's a bridge in Baltimore... well, there WAS a bridge. a container ship lost power and bonked into a bridge support and it collapsed :O

Yes, that incident is truly horrible. I'm keeping the families of the construction workers in my thoughts, as well as the crew of the ship. That's a heavy weight to carry for the rest of their lives.

and now i've just seen that there's a right-wing conspiracy theory going around about it. I'm sorry, but i have to laugh....

Conspiracies are how some people stave off their boredom.

Although it's important to question things and not take everything at face value, there are some things that should just be put to rest.

Yeah, there's definitely a big awful thing happening to a certain location right now that I won't specify. :') But I'm sure everyone knows what it is. Truly heartbreaking. </3

Also devastating what happened to the bridge in Baltimore. Keeping everyone who was involved in my thoughts.

Kitty, unfortunately, there's at least two big, awful uncertain things happening in the world. it's.... frustrating.

Agreed, it's horrible, but as long as we keep speaking up about what's going on and what needs to stop... but unfortunately I have little faith in those in "charge". :(

It's one thing to feel a need to retaliate, but genocide?

That's about the extent I'll go to about that situation.

a lot of jewish people are against the fact that a genocide is happening to other people. we said never again, and now it's happening again.

also jewish people are getting their bank accounts seized if they're supportive of palestine in germany. not good.

I'm peeved that most of the world has forgotten about Ukraine, and also that China might look at the two wars going on right now and go, ah yes, this is a good time to invade Taiwan.

as someone who's been paying attention to the fact that the US House of Reps has been on !@#$%^& vacation (thanks, Mike Johnson! >:( ), i haven't forgotten. there's supposed to be aid packages for Ukraine and Tawain that are languishing.
ugh.
