hehehehe...i didn't live in the desert, but one year we couldn't afford a tree, so we found a really big tumbleweed and that was our tree for that year.

The last few years, I've been spending my Christmas time in Southern California, so no snow 'til I get home... I'm not complaining though. IT DOESN'T GET BELOW 40F AT NIGHT THERE!!!
