Perishable foods? Really? That sounds stupid to me...they'll go bad before you use them all unless you freeze them, which doesn't work with everything.

Here everyone is starting to hoard canned goods, flour, and sugar. Rice, pasta, and dried beans will probably be next.

That reminds me, I need to buy some pasta and seasonings when I get my paycheck. XP

My doctor's appointments may cancel, but I'm really hoping they don't. <x/
My therapist called me today to reschedule for the end of the month instead of tomorrow. <:/ I kinda needed a session, since this week has been lonely to say the least...but I think it's important to have him limit his contact with his patients besides me, since he's older and more at risk.

My gramma took a spill out of her chair this morning and bumped her cranium. <:[ She needed to go to the hospital and get checked out for a concussion and blood pressure control. <:/ She'll be okay, but she'll likely be having a big bump on her head for a while and another fall will only contribute to her remembering less and less...

Am so sorry she was hurt! But it's good that she'll be okay.
I remember when my mom tripped going up the stairs in the garage and she hit her head on the door...

I swear to X'hal, there was a bump the size of a golf ball on her head...
And as the days went by, the blood drained from her bump, into her face and it looked.. terrifying.
Like she had enormous, puffy bruises under her eyes.

It was the scariest thing I've seen. :(

I hope your grandma has people around who can help her stay safe!

Though she reminds me of an Oranda goldfish with a big puffy swell over the middle of her forehead. <x} Her swelling has gone down a little, but she really doesn't like the way it looks and is embarrassed to take her glasses off at dialysis.

She's also been hallucinating a bit, with her calling my mom in her room last night saying, "You see what the babies are doing?"
and my mom goes, "Mom, there's no babies in here."
to which my gramma shrugs and says, "Alright then, leave them alone." <x}

And she is getting a bit confused as to who she's talking to. <:} She called me Tammy, which is my mom's name, and she asked my mom where my cousin Ruby is sleeping in the house, though she only finished talking with her on the phone and isn't in the house at all.
It's a little silly, but also a bit sad. <:c We gently correct her sometimes, but she is forgetting more and more. She won't even call for assistance anymore so she has to be watched almost 24/7. Luckily she can still speak alright and she's not showing any more stroke signs.

My mom looked like that also! She was actually unrecognizable after the blood started draining from her bump into her face. Like... I kid you not, she looked almost un-human.

Your grandmother might have blood drain down into her face as well. D:
My mom said she would look at herself in the mirror and cry because she looked nothing like herself. And we were worried that the bruises under her eyes would never go away. Thankfully, about six months later, her face is now the same as it was! <3

But it was a scary time for my mom, so I can imagine it's probably extra scary for your grandmother, especially since she's already struggling as it is. :(
