That's wonderful! Sounds like it's all working out and that's great. Moving in general is so stressful with out extra stuff popping up. I hope it's smooth sailing the rest of the way with everything for you.

I will probably not be online much for the next few days. We had a death in the family on my husbands side so we will be out of town with family and ect.

there still are a few more inspections so our buyer can move in, but now we know all about them. some of which we may not need. hopefully. and our realtor says that if there's anything that needs to be done, it's on the buyer, not us. so that's helpful.

Trystan, Appreciated. It was expected but not quite this soon so it was kind of scrambling at the last minute to make travel arrangements. I'm kind of exhausted at this point. We're home but our flight didn't get in until 10:30pm last night, we didn't get home until about 11:30pm and still had to get up for work and school this morning. I need all of the coffee.

Yeah, hopefully if anything else does come up it's something that would be more aimed at the buyer to take care of so you don't have anything else to deal with.

right - the plumbing company started the job today.
we relocated all of us to the airbnb yesterday, and it took close to an hour to get all the cats in their carriers. *whew*
they say the job should actually be completed tomorrow, so that's good news too.
and then there's an electrician that needs to come out and inspect that system. any updates, this time, should they need them, though, are on the buyer. my realtor told me so, and i have it in a text. twice. :D

yeah, it is. and the oil heater is getting inspected during the same time block that the electrician will be there (one's 8 to noon, the other 9 to noon. heh)

cats. oh boy. in order of appearance

Blackie - short haired "locket" black cat, he has a little tuft of white at his neck. old dude, 17. adopted in January of 2006

Rocky - floofy locket black cat, looks like Blackie went through the dryer. XD he's now 5 and was adopted in April of 2020

Ashton - Ash - grey & white tux, plushy. he's now 2 and was adopted in August of 2020 with his brother....
Oreo - black and white tux, wide, haunted eyes. also 2.

Harvey - grey tabby, 4, we adopted him in December of 2020
Luna - floofy total black kitty. she's 3, and adopted at the end of December 2020.

Angel - the calicotude with strong with this old lady, she's 15 now, but was 13 when someone left her at the shelter. we went to see Angel, but brought home Harvey first. Angel finally came home Jan 1, 2021. she's still a squawky old lady, but happy she's home now.

Molly - floofy orange Lioness... orange girls are rare, and hubby wanted a lioness. she's 4 and bonded with...
Arthur - also 4, big orange tabby. since her name was Molly, we changed his name to something more ginger :D we adopted the Oranges at the beginning of June 2021.

Nicholas - orange and white tux, we started out fostering him at the end of October 2021, he's 2. but then his brother...
Aemon - black and white tux (but more black than Oreo), also 2, came to our house to be fostered, but after less than an hour decided he wasn't going anywhere else, and became our first foster fail in November 2021. and since Nick is his brother and part of the the package.

yes, we have 11 cats. O_o

8Nephila8 Thanks. Part of me wants to leave for elsewhere. I've tried but stuff hasn't gone well. Someone said yeah tty but it's fallen flat. A big problem is money. It's really hard when you spend forever filling out application after application and the only kind of help you can get you've already tried. Part of me is starting to realize it's not happening and I have no choice but to deal with it until I can't afford payment.


Stinks about missing the job fair. Hopefully you can catch it next time.

Dalhanahue: Milk, or at least I was sure it was. I usually drink it a lot and after drinking it I got itchy and kept coughing. I did open a new bottle of pop and after drinking noticed I was itchy again. I don't know if it was just a one time thing or what.

Thanks. Stinks about your bad roommates. Be nice if some roommates weren't such a pain. Was the first time he's done something like that but could do without the other things he's done.
Also sorry to hear about a death in the family. My condolences.

@ Jester: I feel like everywhere is the same problem today. Entry level jobs are getting more difficult because there are more people, but less work. Due to technology. My daughter has never been employed before and she's finding it difficult. Where people used to jump at the chance to train those kinds of people.

I had a bit of a panic attack the other day because I feel like it's never enough.

8Nephila8 Yeah unfortunately it seems that way. Ether that or some places are just a revolving door. Hire you but fire you before you qualify for anything. Well at least one place I worked at. Stinks about what your daughter's dealing with. Even though I have worked I really feel it. Job or no job before it's too difficult then it should be. I don't blame you. I've been in a similar boat myself but with breakdowns.~

i grew up with one cat, and then a few years after hubby and i were married, we had four cats at one point, and i thought that was a lot..... when we moved to our current house, we had 2 (in some form or another)....and for about 6 weeks in 2020, our old dude Blackie was an only cat. and then *poof* cat explosion from April 2020 through November 2021. XD

A big part of me being able to function in any way is to have a place like this to come chat and get my frustrations out. I don't really have any close friends that I feel like I can confide in ad I'd rather say my ills to "strangers" on the internet than keeping it in.

i think online places to chat are important too. and after a while your "strangers on the internet" do become friends. :D
