Kill me!
Hang me!
Do what you will,
Just be sure my heart stands still

Cut my throat,
So ill bleed out.
I wont protest, screem or shout.
Please oh please just cut my eyes out,
So i wont get lost in yours....

my big thing with all this is that if you use a Mac you can go straight to a PC and understand it (for the most part). If you use a PC however, it takes a bit to get used to the Mac. And the mice do "right click", but not quite the way you think it is. Have to use two fingers...at least on the touchpad for the MacBooks.

I used to think that, but it's actually lot easier to get used to than you think. After the initial "shock of it", it is easy to switch between the two.

I myself am a PC. I use my PC for gaming and video editing mostly, beside web browsing and other small tasks like that. I also love to be able to customise and tinker with my PC. building, upgrading and even repairing is a hobby to me. While Macs are arguably better for Video/photo editing, they're not ideal for gaming, or tinkering

If you just want something that works, looks good, is simple to understand, and don't mind extra cost for that I would recommend a Mac. I definitely don't have anything against Macs, they just don't suit me

The gaming community is slowly starting to include Mac, I know Blizzard has a Mac platform.

I wouldn't go out and say macs are bad for gaming, like a lot of people like to say. They simply don't have a game library that can compare to that of the PC. Though, as you have said, that is changing.

I think I'd still be a PC if the Mac did share all game releases, as a PC is far simpler to upgrade yourself to keep up with the demands of modern games

I would say that that doesn't quite apply in all circumstances. In fact, Macs are becoming easier to upgrade. The only difference being that most of the work has to be done by someone at an Apple Store due to the fact that they are a bit secretive and unforgiving to those who dare to attempt the upgrade themselves.

i wouldn't say having to take it to a store is easy to upgrade, in the way i mean it. I like to find a piece I want, order it online and stick it in myself with no fuss. If they become upgradable to that degree I think I'd consider getting on.

In ten, fifteen years...it probably won't really matter whether you go with a Mac or PC for gaming reasons as both will be top notch. :3

But then that just leaves computer platforms like Linus left behind... XD;

Yeah, Linux isn't that bad. It is reminiscent of Windows, but I haven't had much experience with it. Just with PC and Mac. And I prefer my Mac to a very high degree!

My PC is set for a duel booth with Windows 7 and Linux. I don't really use Linux day to day, i just like to learn the OS, since i want to go do computer stuff for a living.

What is Linux exactly? My old boyfriend used it and always just said oh well you won't understand so I won't tell you there's really no need.... *rolls eyes*

It's an open source OS, so anyone can make their own version of it. it gives you a lot more freedom and choice, and a lot of customization option. It's generally only good for a tech savy person who likes to mess with that sort of thing
