porridge is a common breakfast meal, and i guess some people put raspberries in it? thne we have bars and biscuits made of oats. this is UK wide though, and mainly because we can grow them here. Like we don't have much at all with corn in it. corn syrup etc.

I'm a bit confused what you mean by the 'regular accent'? XD the UK has hundreds of accents and there isn't really one staple one that would be considered regular >_<

the whole thing about stereotypes is they're usually horribly wrong for the most part xD

i guess it's probably more of an English accent portrayed in harry potter/BBC. And I think it may be harder for outsiders to tell accents apart.

like.. i would say all 3 of the main people in Harry Potter have different accents xD

each of Scotland, England, wale sand Ireland has a vast array of accents, and they can be incredibly diverse. But there is certainly a certain kind of accent that is in the media, one that is easily understood by people outside the country. This generally means English XD
