MAY CONTAIN MATURE THEMES,
at some point,
in the future... maybe.

A woman with long straight black hair walked in through the throne room doors. Her head held high and her crystal blue eyes shone with dignity. She was beautiful in every sense of the word. Her gown flowing softly as she walked up to the throne.
"Your Majesties," she said in a clear voice "You requested my presence?"
"Yes, we've heard rumors..." The king began
"Rumors that you have seen something, Seer, and haven't told us." The Queen cut in. She seemed highly upset even though she was normally the more level headed of the two. Her emerald eyes shiny in the bright lights of the throne room. She look like she was in perfect health even thought she had had a child not even three days ago.
"Yes, I've seen something. Yet it was unclear. Something blurred my vision. I know not what it is that I saw. I've been trying to recall it... but it has yet to come back to me. I'm sorry my queen."
"What is it that you remember?" The queen hissed harshly. "There must be something"
The seer studied her queen silently for a moment. No one knew what kept her from answering right away, but she seemed to be waiting for something.

"My Queen, your daughter is in good health I assume. I heard she was quite a beauty...." She paused again her eyes seeming to look far away "...The thing I saw my Queen...You will not enjoy. Death and destruction. Fires and pain. The only hope for your people in a tight bundle in a cradle, but it most not remain here. Your kingdom will fall. As you will with it. Your people in chains. Your daughter..." Her eyes fluttered over the cradle by the throne "... Two must take her far from this land. She will know nothing of us or you. Until she is old enough and strong enough to save us from the dark."

"What?" the Queen stood her voice a high shrill "You expect me to give up my daughter?!"

"....There is no other way to save your people... The Dark is coming. She will rule. You will fall." She bowed her head and waited.

"But who should we trust with our daughter?" The King spoke softly.

The seer thought of this and looked at her leaders.
"A young couple... One you trust. Make them promise you to watch after your daughter. They may say no at first but explain to them... Tell them what I've said. You have.... till the full moon raises into the northern sky.... that night will be our end" She bowed her head once more and turned to leave. She knew they needed nothing else from her. She started to walk away with a fear in her heart. She saw her death. She knew she could not save herself. She just kept hope for the future.

The sun was high in the sky and shiny brightly over Asui's family home. There were no roads to there house, and no neighbors to speak off. They lived in a nice quaint little valley surrounded by mountains. No way in or out unless you could fly or knew the hidden entrance. Her parents never explained why they lived there, but what more could she want? They were safe and happy.
The nearest town was nearly 150 miles away and they only traveled there when they really needed too. They grew everything else, or hunted what they needed for food. Right now Asui's sister was down by their lake playing in the water while trying to keep from doing her daily duties. Their father was out in the yard tending to their crops. Their mother was singing in the kitchen as she made lunch. Asui herself was out back hanging the clothes. The perfect little family, and they were hoping for another brother or sister soon.
Asui's bright green eyes scanned over the forest in front of her. She thought something was out there. Watching. Waiting. Yet she couldn't be sure. Her beautiful red hair, slightly wavy today, fell over her shoulder as she reach down for another shirt. She was well built and dressed in earthy tones and clothes that allowed her to move easily. She loved her peaceful life, and would tell anyone that. Yet something was missing, and she could never quite put her finger on it.
That is when Asui heard the scream. Loud and filled with pain, and without a doubt from her sister. There was nothing dangerous in this valley. Her father had made sure that they would be safe. They were always extra careful. She never knew why... Her sister screamed again bringing her from her thoughts. She was already running. Turning around the house. Her mother grabbed her by the arm and pulled her in the house. A bag was shoved into her arms. It was heavier then she remembered it being last time she held it. They practiced leaving in a rush before. She was always told that she would have this bag. Always. No matter what her parents would give it to her somehow. And now she looked into her mothers eyes and saw pure fear.
"Mo-" She began but she was cut off
"Shhh!" Asui was dragged through their house and out the back door.

They ran silently through the forest soon they would split up. Asui felt terror building up in her. She never thought they would have to do this. She remember the plans as her mother whispered something to her so softly that she almost didn't catch it.
"We'll meet at that special place. If I'm not there in the time limit you know what to do. I love you..."
And with that her mom switched course. Leaving her on her own. She would be alright. She would. She had to believe that or all of this would be for nothing.
Even at the distance from their little home Asui heard her fathers screams. She didn't want to think about it, but deep down she knew it was just her and her mother now. She hoped that she would meet her like she said. Yet her words had felt like a goodbye. Tears started streaming down her face, but she forced herself to keep moving. Pushed past tree after tree until she could almost see the way out. She was tired and scared. Thats when the last scream hit her ears. Her mothers voice. It was ringing loudly in her ears. She thought she heard "Not My Baby" but she wasn't sure if that was possible. Sobs locked themselves in her throat and she pushed through the hiding place of the way out. She locked the door behind her, but she knew it wouldn't matter. It was well hidden and her path couldn't be traced. She had been taught well... but little mattered now. She had lost it all....

Thorns and Claws
Darkness was falling across the lands, each region being engulfed by the newly appointed Queen of the shadowed lands. Lands known for their eternal darkness, holding strange and dreadful creatures only told in myths and seen in nightmares. These lands rarely saw sunlight, the plants that grew even were different from those of the rest of the realm. Glowing in the dark being the main source of light for the inhabitants of these feared lands. Even with all of the tales and fears that followed them from these shadowed lands, they still retained peace with the neighboring regions... until now.

A new Queen had overthrown the elderly one who had ruled for so many years. Slowly she began to build her forces and poison the minds of her followers. Spouting such tales as the other regions sought to destroy them and that it was their duty to stand and fight, to deliver the first blow before the enemy had the chance to strike. So easily did she sway so many of the expired Queen's forces. She had everything right in the palm of her hand, anyone that stood in her way would pay the price... in blood.

The seer's words were all too true, the young Queen planned to send her forces to the next kingdom. To destroy all that it stood for, to enslave it's people and rule over the lands there as well. Though not all of her so called faithful soldiers agreed with her methods of destruction. The few who did stand up or speak were quickly silenced along with their families. Even long after the kingdom fell the Queen made sure anyone who disagreed with her was hunted down and eliminated.

This in turn lead to whole villages being destroyed and wiped out, not leaving a single woman or child alive. A wizard lost everything he had due to the Queen's rage as she lashed out at a small village and ripped the life from every living thing there. One of her top wizards, a royal lapdog soon heard word of this and requested a order of leave. Sure he had heard rumors of the name of the village but he prayed to the dark goddess that it was not true.

The Queen granted his request not thinking a thing of it. She had everyone in her palm after all, nothing came before her in her peoples minds she had made sure of it. Though this would soon be proven wrong. The village indeed was the one he feared, the building he stood before was nothing but ruined remains. He nearly broke down right on the spot as he tried to regain himself before going about to ensure the spirits of those slaughtered had moved on.

After burying any remains he had found, including that of his wife and eldest child, he vowed to get revenge for them. There had to be other villages that this was done to, her very own soldiers homes and families burned. What had they been fighting for all of this time? Only to be rewarded with the death of their loved ones.

In his blind rage he challenged the Queen as soon as he returned to the castle she stayed at. A bold and careless move, even with all of his powers and knowledge in the dark arts of magic he didn't stand a chance. The Queen always kept a number of relics and wards near her at all times for protection. He knew this and chose to ignore it. The curse he wanted to place on her to cause her the slowest death possible was reflected and ended up being cast upon himself.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The curse had weakened his powers over the years. Being thrown in a cell to rot the rest of his days away had nearly caused his will to break and crumble into the darkness that seemed to have swallowed everything. But some chatter among the lesser guards brought a new so to speak ray of light to this dim and dying world. Rumors of a girl with strange powers, the blood line of the previous rulers of the once glorious kingdom. Were these said rumors true?
The Queen seemed to think they were as she had dispatched a small unit, or rather was in the process of sending a small unit to fetch this girl as they had finally located her. If all went well with his plans then he was going to be dispatched with this said retrieval unit. He still had enough power and strength left to fix up a few tricks to allow him to get a safe enough distance from the castle and the Queen's eyes before they would notice he was gone.
All of these years he could have freed himself of this prison cell if he had so wished, it wasn't chanted at all to resist magic. Upon doing so he quickly went about getting some proper dress to match the other Queen's men going out to get this girl. He had a plan, even if the girl wasn't who they said she was... the Queen was not to get her. He would make sure her men did not come back with the girl. Better yet that they would not return at all.
All of these years he held onto the hope his youngest daughter was still alive somewhere. But now there was a brighter hope that the world was not yet over, that someone could rid the heartless Queen of her throne. But first he had to get there and travel with the squad being sent undetected. Easy enough so long as he managed to get out of the castle unnoticed.
During the last leg of the trip he fell behind a little, he did not enjoy watching the small force kill the family that lived in this hidden sanctuary, but it had to be done. Sooner or later the group would cross paths with the girl, he had to wait till then to make his move. Dealing with the small force the Queen sent shouldn't be a huge issue. But if this was the girl that held the blood line of the past ruler.. her powers could prove to be a issue during a time such as this.
Crawling under cover away from the hidden door seemed to take forever, but she was to scared to walk. They were still out there. Whoever 'they' were... The forest had an uneasy feel to it. To much blood had been spilt.... To much of her family gone...
When she looked back behind her there was nothing but darkness. The fading blue sky in patches past the trees. And smoke coming from where home once was. Her mind filled with questions as the sun set and the time past. Hooves beat the earth not to far from her. She could feel the vibrations in the ground, and sense them in her bones. It was a part of her. As few would ever know. She kept it secret from outsiders because of her parents, but the truth was quite odd.
Terra gave her something more then food, and land. It was part of her soul.
The hooves sped up and went down the path she knew was there, but never once had laid eyes on. Yet one man strayed. No horse. No armor, for he did not weigh enough to be in anything more then leather at best. No one to watch his back. He wandered into the woods a ways, and lowered his bags, as well as his pants, and relieved himself.
Rage filled her. Over something so simple. So benign. She reached out with her senses, mostly her sixth one, and made the plants move to her command. He never saw it coming.
Quickly.
Quietly.
Vines and roots started to grow towards his feet. By the time he realized that they hadn't been there before it was to late. they encased the man completely. soft muffles were the only sound left even though he was screaming. the vines slowly started to twist and squeeze. Killing slowly. Painfully. Silently.
The ground opened up and swallowed the whole mess. Not a drop of blood lay in his place. The forest was at an eerie state of calm.
The hooves were far away now, but not gone. No one turned back for him. Not then anyways. Now it was time to make a choice.
Logically there was no reason to go to that secret place and wait for an answer she was already sure of in her heart. No one was alive. There were supplies there... but was it worth the risk? She opened the bag her mother had given her and looked through it. Food and some water, a blanket, some medical supplies and something she didn't know would be there. A book. It was what had made the bag so much heavier.
She couldn't deal with that now. Closing the bag she stood up and looked around.
"To hopeless sadness, or on a road to which there is no where to really go?" she whispered. Her eyes scanned the forest in front of her to the right was a way out of the forest and towards a town and to the left she would go deeper into the forest... Most anyone would get lost in there. It would be safer, and it would take her to more supplies...
Asui sighed to herself.
She went to the left. She started out slowly be careful not to leave any trail that she had gone that way.
Twenty minutes later she appeared in the doorway of a well hidden shack. She pulled her necklace off and inserted the key into the lock. She would spend the night here and then in the morning move to another location and get a horse. There was a farmhouse... miles away. It was placed between where she was and the nearest town. The owners didn't know her... but that didn't matter. She would buy a horse off them, or if she felt she couldn't risk them knowing her she would steal it. Things were harder to decide when you didn't know who your enemy was.
She sat in the corner and lit a small oil lamp her parents had bought for this little hide out, and pulled out the book. There were no windows in the tiny shack. So there was no way the light would shine in the darkness of the forest and attract unneeded attention. She opened the book to the first page and read it.
"Dear Asui,
If you are reading this my dear then I fear we are all dead. Long ago we figured this day would come and have taught you to survive the worst if we were no longer there to protect you. Your father and I, well we are not your real parents. We have loved you like our own and feel you are a daughter to us, please never believe otherwise. Yet, the truth is you are our princess. You're real parents left us in charge of taking care of you because they feared the worst for their Kingdom. A great seer came to tell of a prophecy. She was never wrong. She told of the downfall of our people, and of your parents to the dark queen. You may not know of her because we have never spoken of where we came from. Your Kingdom is the country far to the East, and it is now under the rule of Keeshe. Remember her name, but never say it. Do not bring unneeded attention to yourself. Live as we have taught you. Stay to the shadows and make your way home. Friends will help you along the way. We have set up save houses for years. Everything you need should be found somewhere in this book. Codes, names, places, and the like. You are our only hope. Take back what is yours and remember we will always love you.
~Our Deepest Love,
Mom and Dad
"
Tears fell from her eyes. She had never known such a sadness as she had this day and things kept getting worse. How was she suppose to beat a "dark queen" when her real parents couldn't? How would she know who to trust? Things could have changed. It had been years since her parents had talked to anyone outside of the family... that she knew of anyway. She flipped through a few more pages. It was a lot to take in. She found a page with a picture of the royal symbol on it. Asui studied the picture. Anyone with this symbol was her enemy. Tears fell down her face when she flipped a few more pages ahead. There was a hand sketch of her family. Her mother holding her new born sister and her father holding her. She didn't remember posing for it, but she knew someone else had drawn it. There was a name at the bottom, and a date. She had been so young when they had it drawn. She missed them already. They were the only family she had ever known. It wasn't in the book. The page had been set there for safe keeping, and behind it was the royal family. Her real mother and father. Drawn by her fathers hand. Such detail. She could tell how much they had meant to him. Beautiful and calm with a child in her real mothers arms. Could it be her?
There was a small noise outside. She had some control over the earth. She had been trying to get better over the years, but her family never had the skill. She was odd like that. She could do things they couldn't. She didn't even look like them. She finally knew why. She felt out with her senses as she closed the book and put it away turning out the light. She curled into the corner and got ready for whatever happened next. She knew the place was well hidden but someone that is lost can find things they are not supposed to very easily.
Blood fell from a person outside. Not close enough yet to cause real alarm, but not far enough away to make her feel at ease.
Whispers came to her ears. Cries of pain or loss. A voice that was all to clearly that of her mother. Yet she should be dead. Three bodies fell and bled out on the valley floor by her home. The three bodies of the only family she had ever known. Now here is this voice. It belonged to her mother. She was sure of it.
"Asui... Please... Help..." The words filled with so much pain. Agony that couldn't be described even by the best writers. Tears fell from Asui's eyes again and without thought or reason in her mind she got up and walked to the door. She opened it and peered out into the darkness. Night had fallen. She could only see by the light of the moon and the stars, and it was a very dark night. Clouds roamed freely covering the sky and hiding its beauty. Even still she stretched out with her senses and found her mother. Dying.
It was a slim miracle that she made it this far, but now her mind was screaming trap. Asui froze. Her mother had not yet noticed her and was still calling out for her. As the minutes past she noticed why she did not move. She knew why she could not find her way to the hidden place. And it scared her. Her mother was dead. Her ghost locked in her body and a witch was controlling her. Her senses had picked up seven others, scattered about, within five miles of her current position. One was in a tree, not far from her mothers body.
The only thing saving her life right now was her mothers will. The control over her thoughts and her refusal to do what she was told. Knowing little of magic, and how it works. Asui only assumed all of this of course, but she was sure of it. Something was screaming at her to run. Her mother couldn't last forever. She needed to hide. Being surrounded was not a fun feeling, and if she moved to much or to quickly she would be seen.
Asui stepped back softly and took what little cover she had from the witch. Knowing full well she could move part of the floor and take herself and her supplies underground away from all of this, but not knowing if she could use her powers without the witch noticing. Her mothers voice called out again. A loud sharp cry, pain filled and closer. Her resolve was weakening. Soon Asui would be found. So she took a chance and quickly went to action. Vines grabbed the floor boards and sucked them underground. All of them, all at once. Then following the same suit, she and all of the important things got sucked down there sitting on the floor boards in darkness. There were a few small holes here and there tunneled up to the surface. None of which were near the shack or any of the people around it. That was the only way she would be getting air until she was sure it was safe. Screams and shrieks came from the surface. Asui's body shook with rage, pain, and sorrow. Now knowing her mother was over come and just a puppet.
Her family. Gone forever. Her mother taken twice from her. What could there honestly be left to live for? She grabbed a blanket and wrapped herself up. The screams would not stop throughout the night. The only thing the witch ever said would be burned into her mind forever.
"I just love it when they break. All the fighting and the struggling. All of it for nothing, and then the hopelessness that they feel. Its the best feeling in the world when you can control someone into killing there family. That little girl had such a killer in her. Poor mommy and daddy didn't know what to do. Hurt their child, or die by her hands. Its a thrill really." the witch let out a satisfied sigh and then a little laugh. Her voice elegant and seductive.
She would kill her. Asui would kill her if it was the last thing she did before her death came. And she would have no regret..
Thorns and Claws
Sure Vaden had done his share of cold blooded deeds in the name of the Queen, but that hardly meant he had enjoyed them. Watching these actions knowing the girl was out there fleeing for her life as her family here was slain and manipulated. He could only imagine the girls thoughts, the only thing that he was thankful of was that she was not in the present area. Everywhere the group had looked had been empty and held no trace of life being there aside from the forest itself. Though out of the group it seemed he was the only one who noticed the missing member of their little team.
He never said a word, something told him that it was the girls doing. A faint untamed aura ran through this area and it was not that of the forests energy. No this was different, it came from someone. He thought for sure it was the girl, and that meant the rumors were true. The only thing keeping her hidden was the fact that her powers didn't seem to be fully blossomed yet and that the forest itself seemed to be assisting in hiding her from this group that sought to cause her harm and take her from here.
For now he kept to himself staying a little behind the group as they traveled. He needed a safe distance in the event anything went wrong, casting certain spells at close range was beyond reckless. But for now he kept the hood up on the robes he had taken to blend in with this group. Yes they held the Queen's marking of the royal forces, but it was something he had to do if he wanted to do anything to help this girl escape the Queen.
Expecting her to trust him was not something he had in mind, he just hoped that he had the strength enough to keep her powers from destroying him in the process of the others depending on what mind set and mood she was in. If her powers were anything like what he had heard about the last rulers of this land... it was more of a wild magic, not as easily controlled as the type that most are born with or learn. Either way he knew this was going to be a struggle at best, if the others ended up dead and she was safe he would gladly leave it at that.
Though he was brought back from his thoughts as the witch with them seemed to cackle at her new found puppet. It was sickening really, not that he didn't have similar powers but he would never use them in this fashion. Only once did he ever use them on someone who was still in control of their thoughts and will. It was something he'd never do again even if the Queen had ordered him to do so back then he would have refused. The woman didn't seem affected by the tie to her puppet and its struggle at all, but if it was anything that he had experienced he knew for sure that she had cut off any ties to the realm of being called human.
She seemed to go on and laugh about what she had done. At the least after the witch was dead he could ensure the woman's soul could move on and not be trapped here as many souls of the puppets were. But till then he had to bid his time and watch his mouth. It wasn't as if his name was unheard of and he was certain out of this group the woman could pick him out easily if he said too much or displayed his magic.
Let alone his face was enough to give away who he was. He had a scar over his right eye where that corrupted spell back fired that one day. It left that eye useless as far as seeing as one would normally see, though it wasn't completely useless just yet. It still could be used for other tricks he kept to himself. But the hood kept that and the deep purple of his other eye hidden, only faint traces of red swirled in both eyes. Most Drows held blood red eyes but there were a handful that had such odd shades, normally only ones with magic in their blood.
The witch seemed to stop as she made her puppet walk about the area, picking the woman's brain for where the girl may be. He continued to stay back from the group of four that remained. He needed to ensure he didn't get caught up in any trap or attack that the girl may have set up in her defense. If he died here that would hardly be helping her at all, let he would have done all of this for nothing.
The woman seemed to grin as she muttered a few words saying that the girl should be close. Spouting off a mess that she could smell her. Vaden hardly believed her that far, but there was always the chance she wasn't half crazed and telling the truth. The girl would never fight her mother he knew that and the witch probably did too, or rather was counting on that. But there was a few things he could do to make her spell unravel from the poor woman's body. He just had to wait...
Hidden and waiting for a chance. Just one little hint of an opening. Asui had never been a violent girl. Had never hated. Had never once felt sorrow, fear, or pain. Not in these ways. She always had family to fall back on, or the forest. Her save haven. She had been helping it grow and thrive since her family first came here. It was hers, and she knew it would protect her as much as she protected it.
The trees started to move. Not of her doing, but she felt it. Above her they were moving. Closing in on some of the men spread to thin. On the outer edges of the group. The witch cursed under her breathe and turned back towards her men. She spoke in an odd tongue for a moment and then went off like a crazed fool. Feeling the pull of her power Asui flinched. The forest was hers, and now it was coming alive to save her. Men screamed and more blood stained the ground. The witch was losing her forces.
"Don't run from the tree you fools! They're JUST TREES! Burn them! Cut them! This child is making fools of you!" her voice was commanding. The remaining men tried to fight back.... but to no avail. Each fell in time, and the forest fell silent.
Two remained.
The witch, and one far out of the way. Her mothers' body still waking around on the surface looking for her in the little shack. Once more. Like she would just appear.
"Asui darling? Its safe... Everyones gone now. Come out honey...." Her mothers voice sweet and caring. It hurt Asui so much to know that she wasn't really there. That it was the witch putting words into her mouth.
She wasn't sure what to do... But she couldn't stay down here forever.
To admit that he was amused by the woman's words was a understatement. Don't run from the trees, there was little to be done against nature when the one they sought controlled it. She barked her orders that fell on deaf ears as the men who were in a panic of never having dealt with something of this nature were trying to escape their doomed fate. Well this certainly saved him a great deal of trouble. The girl or rather the forest seemed to have done most of the work for him. Even better it was disposing of the bodies as well as any other form of evidence that anyone was ever here in the first place.
He let this little ruse of the witch toying with her puppet go on for a little while longer before he bothered to speak. "Seems you underestimated a young girls will to live and to be free of the Queen's grasp." He smirked a little catching the glare from the woman who quickly snapped at him. She was furious he had such a nerve to speak to her in such a mocking tone. Who did he think he was ran through her mind as she barked at him to help search her the girl, but he declined her order.
"What do you mean no?! I am your commanding officer, you dare disobey a -" She was cut off as he lowered the hood that had been hiding his face. "You? Your suppose to be rotting in that damned cell you were thrown in!" She hissed her words as the horse she was on she forced to back away from her 'companion'. "Suppose to and what has come to pass seems to be two entirely different things Tyra." His words were almost sharp to the woman as her ears went flat against her skull knowing she didn't have enough tricks to over power the wizard before her even on his worse day.
After muttering a few words with a slight yet lazy hand gesture the woman that the girl knew as her mother seemed to grow lifeless once more before slowly falling to the ground and staying there. A faint aura stayed about the body, he'd take care of that later. "Maybe now that you don't have your puppet you want to tell me what the Queen wants with the girl.." He held a warning tone in his voice that he'd get his answers in some form or another. Though he knew from the start it wouldn't be from her willingly.
Tyra was unwell. The spells she preferred corrupted her mind, and her body. She let out an amused laugh.
"Stupid man, Why would I tell you something like that" she spoke in that elegant seductive tone again. She was trying to buy herself some time to come up with a way out. Knowing full well he was still powerful enough to destroy her... actually brought her some excitement. Just the thought of the pain and suffering she would go through brought a smile to her face and a shimmer to her eyes.
"You hold no place of power. There is nothing you can do to get me to talk." As she spoke the trees were still uneasily moving about. She moved back a few steps muttering something under her breathe. Not even Vaden could hear her.
"Well? What are you going to do about it?" She asked staring him down
Asui held her breathe from the moment the woman was confronted by the last of her party. Was he actually not here to follow the orders the rest had? If so, why didn't he save her family? What was going to happen to her if the woman won....? Questions spiraled through her mind. She could kill the witch. The forest would help her, but there was already so much blood spilt. How would she ever be able to live with herself. Yes, it was self defense, but she's hidden and safe. For now. Does she really need to kill them too? The thoughts of her mother came back to her. Her painful screams. Her soul tied to her body like a puppet on strings. This witch was evil, and if she was just a pawn... what could she possibly be dealing with...
He shrugged listening to her hardly caring about her thoughts that she seemed willing to share. "I'll Find out what I wish to know, you don't have to be alive for such information. I'd think you of all people would know that." It was a warning that she could get out of this alive if she just told him what he wanted, though he didn't see that coming to pass. "It just matters in how you die, something slow and drawn out is too good for you." His words were sharp, he knew she wasn't the same. A lot of the people he knew had changed over the years, either the corruption of power or of broken wills. It was a sad sight really, seeing someone such as herself almost half crazed.
"So whats your decision Tyra? Not that I believe you have any shred of the person you once were left in you.. but at least I gave you a fair chance to redeem yourself, even just a little." He continued to wait to see what her answer was. If he didn't get one he was just going to kill her and get it in another way, one most people would be against. But it was information that he needed to know, something told him he had a idea of what the answer was without getting the answer from the Queen's pawn.
Even with his warnings that he would get the information in some form or another she went about taunting his words. "Your not as powerful as you once were warlock... " She smirked at her words knowing she was right. "Getting your information won't change anything, you'll fail just as you did before when you tried to kill her ladyship." The woman all but laughed knowing she'd get under his skin sooner or later. It was like she was trying to get him to kill her, though it might be her best option seeing as the Queen would have her head if she returned empty handed and reported the news that her prized captive was lose.
