Atrox Pack: Home of the Acerbus species, they tend to be known for their dark nature, and severe personalities. They are said to be descended from the shadows with their dark hearts, and the sun with their hot natured tempers.

Acerbus: They tend to have a lot of mutations, but they can have powers, its much more common for them to be highly mutated. Fur color tends to be darker in coloring, but all colors are possible. They tend to be smaller in build and very light, built for speed rather then strength.

Carus Pack: Home of the Lux species, they are known for their gentle and welcoming nature. They are said to be descended right from the moon and its light.

Lux: Known for their skill in abilities, rather than mutations. Lux also tend to have very light colored coats, but all colors are possible. These wolves tend to have much more strenght than speed. They are built for a cold and mountain like terrain which makes them very agile.

HIERARCHY: RANKS & CO-RANKS
Each pack consists of a set arrangement of ranks, crafted in simplicity by the wild wolves who run them. Hierarchy is a constant here, and must remain well conducted lest the pack fall to anarchy and come apart at the seams. The younger or newer, lower ranked wolves are expected to respect the older, higher ranked wolves which claim authority over their inferiors. However, the wild wolf pack is not as tyrannical as it sounds: many members of the pack naturally come to respect one another regardless of rank, and have learned that dominance and submission are vital parts of holding the pack together.

Each pack is created differently, and they all do not hold the same ranks. Though the basic leaders, respected, subordinates hold the same authority in each pack. [/align]

✶ ✶ LEADERS ;;The Leaders of the Pack
Each pack has a leader(s). Though each pack may not have the same position ranks, have the same names, they all have a leader or a couple leaders. The leaders of the pack are those who basically control, or in lack of better words are the Alpha. They maintain order and balance, they make sure everyone is safe and taken care of, and protect their lands. They are judge, jury, and executioner. Their word goes, and all wolves are suppose to hold the up most respect for their leaders.

✶ ✶ RESPECTED ;; The Respected Members.
Those who are respected are those who hold a little more authority over the pack them some other members. Respected members are those who have been within the pack for a long amount of time, they have been active members, and have contributed to their pack in every way they possibly could. Respected pack members can not walk around and boss wolves ranked below them, but they are allowed to help keep things in check. They can help members who need it, monitor the borders and the new wolves, and also can speak to those breaking rules, or causing havoc.

✶ ✶ SUBORDINATE ;; Subordinates, the new guys.
The bottom of the ladder. The subordinates are usually the brand new wolves who just managed to find the pack, or for the members who seem uninterested in pack activities, activity in general, or have done something that has placed them below everyone else. The subordinates hold little authority. They are the new guy, and have to have respect for everyone else within the pack. Subordinates are almost on a type of probation.

CO-RANKS
Co-ranks are specialized duties that certain wolves within the pack hold. They are responsibilities that must be kept up, proving that the wolf is both a trustworthy and adept member of the pack. Only one wolf can carry each co-rank, so Alphas usually choose holders of these co-ranks wisely.


✶ ✶ SCOUT ;; Subordinates, the new guys.
The scout is in charge of patrolling the borders of a pack and setting up patrolling rounds. They also mark the boundaries of the territory, and figure out routes for other packmates to take during their patrol. It is to the scout that all other wolves report back to, after doing a patrolling round, and then the scout is to report back to the Alpha or Beta.

✶ ✶ GUARDIAN ;; The guardian of the pack is responsible for the safety of all pack members. They must know how to fight and how to fend off threats from the pack. They often accompany wolves out of the territory, such as the scout, adviser, as well as the Alphas and Betas.


✶ ✶ HUNTER ;; The hunter of the pack is usually the one to lead pack hunts, and responsible for spending much of their time catching small prey for the rest of the pack. Of course, other wolves should be expected to hunt for themselves, but its the hunter that provides food for those that can't.

✶ ✶ MEDIC ;; The medic is a wolf who has an extensive knowledge of herbs and medicine, usually a compassionate wolf who enjoys taking care of others. They know how to mend broken bones and heal cuts, as well as deal with viruses or illnesses that another wolf may take on. These wolves are considered professionals in their area - they must be, in order to keep their peers alive.

✶ ✶ PUPSITTER ;; Often considered the overseer of the den site, the pupsitter is the pack's babysitter. Simply put, they keep an eye on the pack's pups when their parents aren't around, and aid in teaching them vital life lessons. When there are no pups around, the pack has no need for a pupsitter, and so these wolves usually double as medic's assistants or scouts

✶ ✶ MESSENGER ;; The messenger of the pack is the one expected to run from their pack to others and relay messages. Usually these are messages of the Alphas, but the messenger may or may not be persuaded to carry messages from other packmates, too. The messenger is a loyal wolf, though sometimes are put at risk by being sent out into potentially enemy territory.

✶ ✶ ADVISER ;; The adviser is a trusted member of the pack and usually a close friend of the Alphas. They are given the responsibility of aiding other packmates to resolve issues and work out problems, as well as give the Leaders advice when needbe.

✶ ✶ LOREKEEPER ;; The lorekeeper is a wolf who is trusted with keeping the tales of the land and telling them to young pups, the pack, or just anybody who is willing to listen. They are considered the pack's primary source of entertainment, and are usually a charismatic, enthusiastic wolf.

December-February ;; Snow falls heavily upon the land. Most of the world is covered in a thick icy blanket. Bodies of water have been frozen over, though ice maybe weak upon deeper areas. Sudden blizzards may occur, and snow falls are almost constant in mid winter. Prey becomes scarce. Temperatures range from 10 degrees thru -20 degrees Fahrenheit .

✶ ✶ spring
March-May ;; Snow melts away within the first month of spring. Rain showers happen often, as do week long storms. Trees and flowers bloom with return to life, as animals begin to have young all around. The sun begins to shine more and more towards the end of spring through random thunderstorms may occur. Temperatures now range from 30 degrees thru 60 degrees Fahrenheit.

✶ ✶ SUMMER
June-August ;; Really hot and sunny. mid summer there are barley any clouds within the sky. Animals may seek wooded or water plentiful areas to reside in. There are chances of warm humid summer showers. Cloudy and windy days bring relief to the summer heat. temperatures range from 70 thru 90 (sometimes even 100!) degrees Fahrenheit.

✶ ✶ FALL
September-November ;; Summer heat begins to wear off. Days become more cloudy, and winds pick up constantly. Trees begin to change color to the fall shades of red, orange and yellow. Rain showers start to happen more and more and last longer. Temperatures are a rather warm during the day, thought night time may be a little nippy. Towards the end of Fall most trees are bare. Temperatures range from 60 thru 30 degrees Fahrenheit.

✶ ✶ Enigma ;; This power enables the wolf to cast illusions over their physical surroundings. They may alter the colors, shapes, and entire mood around them; for example changing day to night, spring to winter, cold weather to warm, ect. These illusions come with whatever sounds, smells, details the weaver wishes. These illusions are however, not real; and such surroundings cannot physically effect or inflict harm on a wolf; and are used mostly to frighten, intimidate, or simply amaze.

✶ ✶ Blood Scourge ;; After obtaining this power the caster's blood becomes thicker and almost syrup like, making it harder for them to bleed. The caster will be able to control the consistency of their blood and use it as an offensive type weapon such as, for example, using it as a lance or whip only when they have an open wound on their body. Once the blood leaves the body it cannot be retracted back to the blood stream. In order to use the power the caster has to have ample blood amounts or they'll die from blood loss. Those with stronger abilities in blood scourge will be able to replenish their blood at a faster rate, making this power easier for them to use.


✶ ✶ Osculum Lunae ;; A rare, but beautiful magic, far stronger in Lux wolves. This is a guardianship power, allowing the wielder to encase a loved one in a thin, but powerful shield, protecting it from all magic that may aim to harm them. A wolf with this ability may also send this guardian power to its loved one from a great distance, enveloping them in times of need. The magic glows a soft, moon-lit hue. This power cannot be used on oneself, however, and cannot last forever. It is most effective on loved ones and family members, especially that between mother and child.


✶ ✶ Imprint ;; Like the Layric that wonders the lands of Victus, this ability allows a wolf to leave behind a message from their paw. It leaves a glowing track and for those that wonder past, they can touch it and see a memory, hear the voice, or feel whatever the wolf chose to leave behind. If two wolves both have this power, and are magically strong enough for such a connection, they are able to communicate to one another through the mind, share what they see, hear and smell as well.
Healing
The ability to heal their own wounds, or anothers. The power is very draining, and takes a lot of time to develop.


✶ ✶ Energy ;; The ability manipulate energy, such as electricity, negative or positive feelings, ect.


✶ ✶ Scry ;; The use of water to see the past, future, or things happening in the present.


✶ ✶ Venom ;; Wolves have the ability to produce venom like a serpent, and may have a tongue like one.


✶ ✶ 360 ;; The wolf is able to see 360 degrees around them.

✶ ✶ Weather Control ;; The ability to manipulate the weather. Create storms, tornadoes, hail, etc.


✶ ✶ Time Control ;; The ability to slow down or speed up time.


✶ ✶ Sororis ;; The ability to create exact replicas of oneself, doppelgangers so to speak. These replicas look, smell and sound exactly as the original does, however they are unable to produce magic or inflict harm, and are solely for the purpose of confusion. The amount a wolf is able to produce depends on the strength of the wolf, however anything over 3 at one time is extremely difficult, and rarely seen.

✶ ✶ Dream Walking ;; Gives a wolf the ability to enter the dreams of any wolf they have met even once. They can alter or change the dream to accommodate themselves, but the dreamer still has some control, making it potentially dangerous to the Walker. This can be done over any distance - the only requirement is that the other wolf must be asleep and dreaming.

✶ ✶ Biosonar ;; Gives the wolf the ability to 'click' like a dolphin and hear the echo, allowing for vision in the darkest of conditions. Also, the sound waves they produce can be amplified enough to stun those within hearing range.



✶ ✶ Telepathy ;; The ability to speak to others telepathically. Users can project their voice to another over several miles or just a few feet depending on their magic level. Higher level users can even go so far as to make their chosen subject speak the words in which they project.


✶ ✶ Mimicry ;; The ability to take on the appearance and abilities of another wolf. The amount of time depends on the level of skill.


✶ ✶ Seduction ;; An increase in pheromones and hormones to attract a mate. Has a very mild controlling effect.


✶ ✶ Ether ;; For this ability, the wolf must already have the mutation of glow. This power enables the wolf to manipulate their glow into energy, molding the light into shapes and rope-like strands that may act as an extension of their own bodies. A weaving strand of ether is physically adequate, meaning it touches, senses, feels, caresses and contracts, making it a magic of many uses.


✶ ✶ Allora Vox ;; Similar to the shrieks of a banshee, the wolf is permitted to emit deafening sound waves that at close quarters can temporarily deafen an opponent. They can also control the direction in which the sounds are aimed for, though only higher levers of magic will be accurate.

✶ ✶ Ghost ;; Allows the wolf to turn invisible and move without sound.


✶ ✶ Echosing ;; This enables the wolf to sing mesmerizing beautiful songs that can enchant wolves and animals around them. The singer can nearly control them, for good or for bad.


✶ ✶ Aura Reading ;; The ability to sense the powers, abilities, emotions, memories, and also see where they have come from.

✶ ✶ Assimilation ;; The ability to meld oneself into inanimate objects, such as a tree, or large rock, even water. The allowed time depends on the wolf's skill.

✶ ✶ Seether ;; This power enables the user to bend shadows to their will. They may alter the shape, density, and darkness of shadows, as well as turn to shadows themselves. A wolf in shadow form resembles smoke; billowy, transparent wisp-like. In shadow form, the user is relatively unaffected by physical harm.


✶ ✶ Glow ;; Makes markings, or the entire body glow in a set color.


✶ ✶ Sense Casting ;; This ability has greatly increased all of the common senses. Touch, sight, hearing, smelling, and taste. Touch is magnified to be similar to other powers, touching things reveals its histories and movement in far distances. Sight can travel from the body for a great distance, and pick up on other living creatures for a few miles. It also can pick up heat signatures and see recent trails using this sense. Hearing can listen and catch the faintest of sounds for a few good miles. Scent is increased to detect even a new blood drop within a few miles. Taste provides an image, based on the chemicals in the surrounding air absorbed by the tongue. It can detect a wolf by these chemicals for several days. The user has the ability to tone down their senses and keep them at lest extreme levels.

✶ ✶ Photosynthesis ;; This mutation changes the wolf almost entirely. They can live and produce food off sunlight, making hunting almost obsolete. Wolves with this mutation don’t usually have much size to them, and tend to be weak in darkness and cold weather.

✶ ✶ Potions ;; unknown magical powers to be yet determined.More to be discovered.
