LOL, my sister wants to learn to crochet.
I want to eventually learn how to use my sewing machine.
tho for now i only know how to hand-sew my stuff animals. XD

Minus blocking, I finished the blue lace shawl I was making. In under 1 year. Which was impressive considering how much stuff was actually going on in my life last year tbh.

But considering I'm currently working 45+ hours per week with only 1 day off, it's a miracle I find time to do anything at all with how absolutely wiped I am. (No lie, I slept through both of my alarms today and it's only through Shade's persistence that I wasn't late for work.)

I mean, it could be worse I guess, but despite my best efforts, my brain has a tendency to just absolutely shut off after work and I'm lucky to get the basic necessities done on any given day.

Tonight (in the approx 4 hours since I got off work) I have successfully fed the cats, eaten dinner and prepped a couple of outfit options (minus a neutral/nude tights or leggings option for one of them because I can't find them) for work tomorrow to go with my new shoes...that are sitting under my desk at work because that's where I had them shipped (for safety) and I didn't feel like lugging shoe boxes home.

Moody, you can start with aluminum crochet hooks, they're kinda inexpensive. and if you're near a Michael's, the acrylic Craftsmart yarn also shouldn't cost all that much, but make sure it's a soft yarn. some of the inexpensive acrylic yarn is rough. ew.

Or try a Joann if you have one. The Big Twist brand yarns are pretty affordable and are actually fairly soft for a cheap acrylic yarn.
