There shouldn't be any captcha after you successfully make an account. As long as you are past that point there's a Discord server for assistance getting the rest to work.

It's just a chat program that has voice chat as an option. Also focuses on chat rooms.

Do you mean signing into the game itself or the website? Sometimes it asks for a code sent through email for me at least.

Use only lowercase letters for your username if you haven't been. Password is case sensitive but the username has to be lowercase only.

Not terribly. I'm making a wig from yarn. Still gotta make a tail from the same yarn, fix my fangs (the 'friendly plastic' needs reshaped), make clip-on ears, and vandalize a denim jacket.
