i like how the anime remake is breathing new life into an old series, so that the newer generation of anime watchers can enjoy it as well

Both of the Teachers were in the original manga/anime/reboot but as kids.


v Lots of spoilers in side for Fruits Basket as the topic is the sequel FBA o3o if you haven't read the manga all the way through, dun reads unless you're alright with spoilies.

The annoying one that kisses the one boy's ass, he is the student council president that got onto Hatsuharu's case about his hair color.

The other teacher that has black hair and threatens people with curses, that is Tohru's friend's little brother, the younger Hanajima. xD He was in both the original anime and the new one.

The Sohma Fanclub president of this series is the daughter of that 3rd year student that was the Yuki fan club president in the original, looks just like her, can't tell if she's more insane or less...


Now, with that known, it's obvious to say that the Sohma's of this story are the children of the original Sohma characters.

Hajime the Kyo clone = Kyo and Tohru's son, the big brotherly thing is obviously a Tohru trait, his good looks came from dad <3 Actually if you've read the manga all the way through, you see him at the end of Fruits Basket as an Adult with his Wify! XD

Mutsuki is Yuki and Machi's son but he acts like a mixture of Ayame and Shigure.. ._., It's obvious he's Yuki's kid because Yuki and Machi, BOTH are messy messy people, and their kid here takes after them with pride.. unfortunately Kyo Clone-kun can't stand the mess he makes at school

Riku and Sora the twins are the kids of Hatsuharu and Rin

There was one more Sohma that was introduced, but I can't think of which of the original characters her parents were...


Waiting for Rooster boy and Uotani's kid to pop up >:X I WAS ROOTING FOR THEM DAMN IT!


As for this Tohru-clone, I have no clue on who she is yet or who her mother is, or how she connects to the Sohmas.. they all seem to be attracted to her for some reason, I've only read up to 8 chapters...
