[Quiet Man Cometh]

I've got Ready Player One in my stack. I remember seeing it when it first came out and thinking seriously about picking it up (it was on a staff recommended wrack at Indigo) but kept not bothering. The trailer on tv for the movie has "Take on Me" by Ah-ha and I'm suspicious that it's in there because of the "out with your best mates" meme that spread into game conventions and video game stuff.

One of my library plans is to specialize in game culture, if that's a thing I can manage. Or at least, find books about it. Death by Video Game was good. I'm hoping to dig up some others. I read parts of Reset and Replay for my paper, which I plan to edit one day.
