Apparently on Instagram the one Devs for the first Okami said that Okami 2 was official o3o

though that might be a fake account >-> I mean why post it on an instagram account that NO ONE follows instead of twitter? that has more followers?

but he did hint at a Sequel to Okami (apparently the original okami devs don't count OkamiDen as a sequel) in an interview:
