Anyhow, I think it might be that he thought he would be something more to you than just a friend if he spent a concentrated amount of time with you. Or maybe it's not. It could just be how friendship works for him. Heck, sometimes that's what I end up doing: spending a lot of time with one person and than running off to do something else just 'cuase.

I might be speculating, but I don't think that your aunt has anything to do with him going to radio silence and that it's just coincidence, but who knows? *shrugs* Have you tried talking to him recently?
