Palms pressed together
Fingers laced
They stand there
Eyes locked
Both hearts once in pieces
Now they burn with a new love
Passion
A sweet fire they pray will never go out

She looks into his eyes and sees a hero
A flawless man
Her dreams a reality right in front of her

He looks into her eyes and sees hope
A woman he can trust
Perfection made just for him

A love that grows with every second that passes
Fate brought them together
They were made for each other
Their hearts engulfed with love

This poem was written by me. It was also published in a book with 60 other authors and then also recorded on a read-aloud sort of thing a few years ago.

It is about how I felt with my..well now ex fiance. I will miss those times.
