eep! tomorrow is Xmas!

anyway. just finished reading D: A Tale of Two Worlds by Michel Faber. it was a fun read... one day, the letter D just disappears, or rather, isappears. which is not fun for Dhikilo, the main character. she goes off on a quest to find out what happened. a lot of people say they get a Dickens or Narnia vibe, but i was kinda reminded of the Wizard of Oz.

anyway, new book, Defending the Galaxy. don't know if i'll finish by the end of the year.
