Ok UPDATE!

Now that 6 chapters have been released by fan groups... Some of this post will be in spoilers.

I read somewhere that the characters were NOT the children of the original cast.

I'm sorry but who ever said that just HAS to be wrong. There are WAY too much in the first 6 chapters (mainly ch 5 and 6) which points out that these are TOO their kids.

Kyo & Tohru: Sohma Hajime
Yuki & Machi: Sohma Mutsukuni
Hatsuharu & Rin: Sohma Riku

These are the suspected parents of the characters. The MAIN Female of the story has nothing to do with the sohma family prior to the start of the manga.

Reasons of these suspicions:
Hajime: Wears a braclet similar to what kyo use to wear. (it should no longer be needed so why he wears it I don't know). He also has a problem with how messy Mutsukuni's desk is. Tohru if you remember had to have things tidy.. o3o Oh.. Big Hint: HE LOOKS LIKE KYO D:<

Mutsukuni: looks a bit more like Momiji than Yuki.. but in the cover art he has silvery/grey hair like Yuki so we'll leave it at that. Like Yuki, he's a messy person. o3o, said he is proud to inherit it from his parents. I don't remember much about his mother but I think she was a bit messy too..

Riku: .. HE HAS HATSUHARU'S HAIR.. COME ON YOU DON'T NEED MUCH MORE THAN THAT! He also acts a bit like rin.. o3o

The Yuki Sohma Fan Club is now the Sohma Fan Club. The current President of the Sohma fanclub is the daughter of the Yuki Sohma Fan Club President from the original series. (She says so her self... o3o so nyuuuu >p )

please read the chapters before reading what is in the spoiler. I don't wish to be accused of spoiling things. Manga Fox states that the manga HAS been licensed so be on the look out for the manga as it gets released. I know I will <3
