Don't worry, SparX - for most of the time I can also tell it apart only when I look at a pattern and it says "knit" or "crochet" in the title. Sometimes I get the impression knitted stuff looks more smooth and fragile, while crocheted appears more sturdy, but then there's also naalbinding which is something different again, and before Kaderin's posts here in the hobby thread I didn't even know loom knitting was a thing... I'm not saying rocket science for nothing

But some stuff people make looks really amazing. I'm certainly not the only one here who can lose hours on sites like pinterest, ravelry or instructables browsing possible projects.
