Bruh I finally found a way to stop coughing in the night. My ribs are still bruised from the 4 hours of coughing, but still.

Monkey brain went "dry throat? Steam, dude" and I found myself in the shower at 4 am. Freaking passed right out since I've been getting less than 2 hours a night from the coughing. Deadass slept till 11:00, I feel so much better. Maybe now I can stop hurting myself from the dry coughing >:) so happy, dudes
