I know you can, but why pay $250 for a system I won't use the main feature of?
I ended up with the DSiXL because I wanted the bigger screen.
And I just hate to pay to not use the very reason for the system's design. I get major headaches.

And the turn off switch is the slide on the right hand top flip side and it can go full blown or minimal.
Still hurt on minimal.
