My son Jason, dressed as Jason Frudnick from Blaster Master. The armor design is custom, improvised with details from the NES design and the Blaster Master Zero redesign.

The emblem on the chest is the first thing I ever modeled myself for 3D printing. It glows in the dark! The armor is made of EVA foam. And the helmet is a spaceman helmet from old off-the-shelf costume that I resculpted and repainted.

(The boots are work boots painted white... lesson learned: rubber doesn't adhere to paint. They were already peeling in this shot. By the end of the night they were halfway back to black.)
