Default How to conjure an item (a guide for the aspiring wizard)   #1
Young apprentice, be careful. Magic may grant you your heart's desire, but it always comes at a cost. If you're just looking for free silken robes and jewelry, put this tome away right now.
Are you willing to pay the price? Then read on.

You - The Aspiring Wizard - will need the following:
-
  • Twelve tendrils of whitethorn, cut during a new moon
  • A scrap of fabric woven with your own hands
  • A brass plate, which resonates in B minor when you strike it
  • Half a gallon of fresh mountain water
  • A rock from a hard working farmer's land
  • The tear of a child that has never seen evil

Place the tendrils on the rock and weave them into a magic circle. Then gently place the plate in the middle. Chant the following words:

Tolī Rhūqo Lōtinti Kostilus

Walk backwards around the rock three times with the fabric. Be careful not to trip. If you do, you need to start over with your ritual, or else you might conjure something entirely different than what you bargained for.

Whisper your wish to the power that's older than time. Now put the fabric on the plate and pour mountain water on it. Chant the ancient words again as you light a fire under the plate. If you did everything right so far, the water will boil before the tendrils burn to ashes.

Let the child's tear drop on the soaked fabric. With smoke, sparkles and a flash of light it will disappear to reveal your conjured monthly item.

(Or if that fails, you can still choose the mundane path and buy from a more experienced wizard for aurum...)
