I hate how men's clothing sizes are generally fairly universal from brand to brand, but women's clothing sizes fluctuate wildly.

Most recent experience: I needed new jeans for work (because walking all the time means the inner thighs wear out pretty fast), so decided to get them online. Now, I decided to get one pair in my normal brand and one pair in a newer brand because the new one was a few dollars cheaper. So, in my normal brand, I comfortably wear a size 10, but can squeeze into and 8 if I need to, so I just got 10 for both. Welll...the new pair has got to be closer to a size 6 or smaller because I can't even get them all the way up my thighs. So that ended up a waste of money.

Would it really be so damn hard for the clothing companies to standardize pants sizes like they do for mens? I'm sure there are some that are different, but most men's pants that I've seen are usually sized as waist and inseam measurements instead of an arbitrary number. XP
