The Tragic Jester
Exclamation I-Fairy vs Nao (Robots)   #1
Firstly, let me introduce to you... the I-Fairy! http://www.kokoro-dreams.co.jp/engli...y_e/index.html http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E___lzs3VGc

The I-Fairy is from the company Kokoro (seller of the Actroid series as well) and is size of a small child, with a very attractive and durable design. She is fixed to sit on a round "bench", which is her computer! She can move her head and arms, and swing her body from side to side. Equipped with a motion censor, she will face whoever is near and can easily be pre-programmed to greet people. The I-Fairy also easily hooks up to your average at home PC (I believe, not entirely sure) and can read out loud typed text or move to the rhythm of music or talking. She can also be customized with interactive software, but it is not a default feature.

Next we'll take a look at... The Nao! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2STTN...eature=related (Newest version of the Nao: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qsRsrMQy64k )

Nao (pronounced "Now") of Aldebaran Robotics stands just below two feet tall. It is highly interactive, responding to touch, other Naos, and image recognition. It can be programmed to talk, walk, dance, pick objects off of the floor, and even pick itself up if it has fallen over. Heck, it can even prepare itself while falling!

So, guys, which is the better robot?
