You enter an impressive building made of white marble, with many columns and aromatic herbs burning in small fire bowls. As you already know, the Muses are the goddesses of the inspiration of literature, science and the arts in Greek mythology. You have come here to seek guidance.
And the gods answer your plea.
The user above you is now your muse!
Granted, at first it sounded like a wacky idea. You look at the person, wearing a big hot dog suit / googly eyes / a bear head / otherwise not meeting your casual expectation of a greek goddess. But suddenly inspiration strikes and you set out to create your masterpiece.
How to play:
1. Post in this thread. This will reserve you a spot - after all, we don't want you to spend twelve hours on Kali Doggo hugging Droopy Dragon painted in the style of Monet, only to return and find out someone else has run off with your muse to Vegas in the meantime.
2. Now look at the user above you. That person is your new muse who will inspire you to great deeds.
3. What deeds exactly? Well, it's entirely up to you. Maybe you want to draw your muse, write a short poem for them, compose a song, sculpt them in clay, knit a scarf in their color scheme, spell their name in sign language, invent a drink named after them, ... the possibilities are endless. Pick an idea or come up with your own.
4. Create the unique masterpiece to honor your muse.
5. Edit the post you made earlier and show us your creation. There is a small chance a member of the Greek pantheon will reward you with crayons. (There's an even higher chance those crayons come from Gallagher - but hey, free crayons. I'm not gonna complain.)
6. You can participate more than once. HOWEVER you can only have one spot reserved at any time. As soon as you have shown your creation in your original post, you may reserve a post again.
7. The first time any particular user is your muse, you get 20 crayons for your finished creation. If you return to the thread later, and the very same person ends up being your muse again, you'll only receive 10 crayons. This is to encourage you to appreciate as many different users as possible.
