Gaslamp is more or less steampunk, but with... less gears, if that makes sense. Less mechanized automatons, more potentially lovecraftian weirdness and gothic shit. If any of you have ever played Fallen London (or its derivative works, Sunless Seas and Sunless Skies, although the second one leans a bit towards dieselpunk), I'd describe the Echo Bazaar as gaslamp.
