Hmm, well, what I did was go inside one of the armor pieces from the store that was the highest rank at the time, so the enemies started off at roughly my level at the time, and were up to over level 100 by the time I had to leave. I was somehow taking them on, even though I was only in the 30s, 40s back then.

Though, they did add a *ton* of stuff to the item world in 3 and now 4 to make it less boring. Random things are always popping out of nowhere to keep you on your toes. Mystery rooms are my favorite, especially the vendor who sells legendary gear. I might have had a ton of HL saved up when I found him. :D
