The Expand of the Enterprise: Beyond Water

Day 1-4
A ship and an abandoned plain, met at what would seem like noon on Kalin. Funkduder, arriving from the docking bay, looked out at the near-desolate place. He had arrived at a bad season, but then again every season seemed to be a bad season here, but word came to him that it ca be proven wrong. Here was rumored to be a well of great potential...for money and power...water was rumored to be buried here, and as funkduder landed down, along with his scouting crew, the building of a new settlement had begun.
Day 1
It began with housing, as it always did. The ship was okay, but the ship needed to conserve energy in order to be able to go back, so the power was turned off and the crew was oredered to bring out their belongings and Kalinian materials were used to build barrack-like lodgings. 5 to a room, and 5 rooms to a house, and 5 houses. Supplies would last 5 days unless they to get to the water. They began digging right away.

The crator was measured to go a quarter mile down. A very good start considering that only a house was lost with very few injurys.
The Isilme, were there any, would be more alert now, and so the digging and defensive preperations hastened.

Day one has more or less finished and the workforce is alive and well. There hasn't been any opposition either, on this first day...but has anyone noticed the large explosion from earlier? The next four days will reveal this...
Day 2

\\The crew recieved a early wakeup as an explsion rang throughout the camp. They targetted the man-made wall, whoever they were and they hit hard, sending every man stationed there to the floor. Suddenly from the top of the send wall, a few nameless crew members fell to their deaths being tossed from looks to be a dragon.//

The Ascent Arco, in full dragon form, raged hell on the dig site.

You have committed crimes against the enterprise and her people. *keeps a tight grip as the acsent arco struggles* What say you in your defense. *the ascent arco lets out a blood-curdling screech*
...So be it...RRAAAGH! *slams the ascent arco to the ground in an arc*
*huffs and puffs* I think I got him.

With the assistance of DarkForbidden-Love, the dragon finally beaten, and the digging could resume. By the time the day had ended, the final charge explosions, the crew measured 1/2 mile down in total. Extremely good progress.
Day 3 & 4
It wasn't a surprise to know that the dragon, which we discovered to be a fully transformed ascent arco, killed some people on it's way to its demise...However...

And so day three was much slower than the previous days.

This is indeed something....It's a good thing that our guys are mostly out of there, else we would have a problem...*the drill gets jammed*

But we also found something...unexpected
Nothing in the world could have made things better, except that the crew found one door at the far corner of the room…
And so we, like many other adventurers, camped out and prepared to enter the ruin….’
