No More Heros was sort of based around video games and pixels etc, so they went for a cloud of black pixels to replace the blood, and a shower of pixelated coins. I think the coins may have been in the other versions though.

I think Bleeding money would lead a lot of desperate people to do some stupid stuff.. xD
