Jack's smile faded, as he asked the question. Of course he'd ask the question that had been bothering him the since the crash. He turned his head towards the wreckage, and then back to him. "They're in the plane, but I don't think they're alive." He bowed his head down in defeat, and he was serious too. He hadn't bothered to touch many of the bodies, whether he thought they were alive or not. The fact that they were unconscious made him want to look the other way.
