I thoroughly despise group work. In my Mythology class this past term, we had to perform a Norse myth. The myths were in our textbook, but we had to write our own scripts and provide our own props and costumes. I had been given the task of writing our script.

I had been getting sick right before our groups were assigned, yet I still rocked out the script, and everyone liked it. I set up a rehearsal date outside class on a date when everyone said they'd be able to make it, yet nobody showed up. Two of our people never even showed up for the in-class rehearsals. I set up another out-of-class rehearsal, and almost everyone showed up. I ended up having to take over an acting job for one of the people that never showed up, and I did most of the directing as well since I was the only one with theatre experience. We didn't get our costumes until the day of the performance, and we had to change a couple of lines in the script because of it. It pissed me off to zero end that we'd had to improv lines when we'd had a working script- MY script -nearly memorized.
